Another fun fact: The script was originally unrelated to Starship Troopers, and the movie was titled Bug Hunt at Outpost Nine. It was well into pre-production when they decided to make it a Starship Troopers movie for some extra name recognition.

I liked the book. I'm still waiting for someone to make a movie of it -- the powered armor has all sorts of potential for great action scenes.

I just hope that nobody ever does try to adapt "Armor". Although the book is chock full of powered armor action the story is all about the psychology of it, which there is no way to convey without incredibly annoying voice over.

Not enough Michael Ironside.

I've always wondered if anyone could adapt anything from Steve Jackson's Ogre universe into film.

Considering that the main characters are usually sentient tanks that fire off nuclear warheads like they were throwing out candy to children...probably not...

A real showstopper!
