KM/EA really that rare?
I have a level 50 KM/EA Brute that I started when Praetoria was released; Kid Hype on Champion.
He was fun and awesome before the EA buff when EA was sub par, and now he's even more fun and awesome now that EA is sup par.
I built him for durability and recharge, and he tanks better than most tanks while dishing decent damage. My only disappointment with the character is that he can't quite do the Rikti Pylon test. I seem to have a hard time keeping Fury high enough solo vs the pylon. I haven't played the character in a while, but I've been thinking about kitting him out w/ the new ATO enhancements to see if that helps his Fury enough to get the job done.
The set combination also looks pretty cool and thematic together, especially with the "Atomic" Aura costume piece added in.
I've really enjoyed the character; its one of my favorites.
I didn't deliberately omit anything. I saw the line and gave a response. My fault for not catching the end of his statement. However I am going to strongly suggest you refrain from claiming knowledge of another person's mental state without considerably more to go on. (Edit: Honestly, do you really think that it would make sense to intentionally falsely edit someone when their full words are available in the thread itself?)

...and yeah, it's also really cool on Stalkers; I'm working on one of those Plays quite differently from a brute or scrapper, though, so I'm not sure if it's drawing from quite the same pool of potential players, and it only became this awesome a week ago, so I haven't seen many yet. In a month or two I would not be at all surprised to see a lot of them running around.
I apologize if that came across as an attack; I was just puzzled by the objection. I didn't mean you were dishonestly trying to misconstrue his words, just that you would have had to delete the last part of his message to get the quote you did. I wasn't operating at full capacity myself at 5am, frankly ;P

Under construction
Ice armor (Def) DOES have a Damage aura - sorry I didnt clarify I meant BRUTE Def sets dont get damage auras...
apart from Stone Armor which I obviously forgot about
To the OP and their topic: It does seem that way. I personally enjoy the heck out of my KM/EA/EM brute. Even tend to tank with him when the situation calls for it. Used him to complete the rikti pylon challenge as well. Not my best time but not bad by any means. I think players get so focus on "the best" build and forget to try new things. Fact of the matter is /EA has great defenses, a reliable heal with a nice regen component for added utility, built in stealth (even if you need to turn off your aggro aura) an aggro aura that allows you to suffer some recharge in you build because it gives it back, and even an end draining power that fills your end and bolsters your defenses. As for KM you can easily get a nice attack chain with less recharge than others, its -dmg is great when your going one on one with heavy targets and personally I love the animations for the set (but I could live without the sound). Additionally the KD seems to work very well for me, as for AoE I have Energy Torrent and Burst for that and it suits me just fine. While I find myself not taking down mass mobs at once I do find my self contributing significant dps on singular hard targets. Either way, I hope its a combo that gets more light for awesomeness
