Unable to log on character

im experiencing the same issue, i know thats not a solution....but atleast you know your not alone
Its across all my toons even the ones not played in ages.....it even stretch across to multiple accounts so i have to assume its one doosey of a bug that multiple players will be petitioning soon

I was in a DFB with my level 12 blaster on Exalted, I got mapserved. When I restarted the client and attempted to log in, it said my character was still logging out. I tried another character and I got the "Cannot find map!" error. I ran the consistency check, I restarted my machine, even let the computer sit for a while - come back to log in, and still the same error. PLEASE FIX!
(After being mapserved, it said my 12 blaster was locked because I didnt have access to beam rifle, which is not true)
Paying customer, for 7 years, this is frustrating.

Ok, I see the crash report now, so it's not limited to a select few. Phew!

Im on defiant and all my toons except one on each account cannot be logged in on that server.
oddly enough both toons are on the founders fall map??!!
my toons on freedom seem unaffected

have we all petitioned it? or better yet have we looked for any posts indicating what this might be?

Yes i logged on to find this same issue...
took me a bit to notice that onthe character select screen on each character it tells you where they are....and all my favorites i have been playing had MAP: Unknown
anywise i didnt panic....i decided to look at all servers.....and found a few semed to show characetrs on maps...
Liberty was one...Freedom was another....i think one other.
Guardain was down though and thats the one i like playing on...also notice exhalted had the same issue.
Anywise...i noticed people on another thread said differing servers...=O_O=
so maybe...just maybe...people might be able to access differing servers then i am able to....
If so...and you have no ther characters...make a new one....send a petition...
well not sure it will work...probably just goes into the auto bug thing...
Used to go to the online GMs to read....which made it handy with issues they didnt know about
but lately this game is getting weird with stuff...left hand doesnt know what he right hand is doing sort of things....

Is it sad that I miss these sort of random events? Obviously not for the "lack of ability to play" side effect, but more for the group-think that occurs when trying to figure out what's up. :-p
