I'm a bit worried.
I was trying to figure out how to get back to Dark Astoria for the new missions, so I used a teleporter in my base
An OLD teleporter.
Very, VERY old. YEARS old.
To "Echo: Dark Astoria".
It sent me to the old DA (fog, etc), and immediately mapserver'd. According to a friend (chatting via Ventrilo at the time) that is exactly when everything crashed.
I hope ta Gahd it wasn't me. :-(

Edit: Ooo progress! My main character went from "Still Logging out" to "cannot find map; like the rest of them." Woo!

They've had the Queue for a few years; but Virtue hasn't been 'popular' enough to enact it very often; so it is rather uncommon to see it. i was in the middle your MMM raid, and when i tried to log back in i wound up #663 in the queue.. got much the same message after finally getting to character select.
and i was having lots of fun in the raid too.. gotta remember those. i jumped 3 levels in 45 minutes in the first one, a record for me.
Mot killed the servers and absorbed them. I blame Xil for that, cuz... he is blamed for everything else?

But srsly, this is the most random server hiccup I have ever seen in my 5 years of this game.
There's 4 kinds of smarts. Street smarts, brain smarts, survival smarts, profession smarts, and Me.
The Devs have put an acknowledgement that they are aware of the down servers and are working on them....nothing said about the issues with the servers that are not "reported" down".
