Rest XP and Premiums

So, I played some CoX for the first time in a few months, now as a premium, and I noticed that I'm gaining Rest XP when logged off. That really shocked me, as I figured that was a VIP only perk.

Is that working as intended?

I also wondered if that is something unlocked for purchase time, such as controllers...

i have never seen rested XP mentioned anywhere as being tied to the rewards system in any fashion. i think it's considered part of the basic gameplay, much like debt, XP, and contacts.

Rest XP is available for everyone, even F2P players (1 Paragon Reward Token). It isn't a VIP-only perk.

Thank you both. I know that in another game I've played, the rest XP is a sub only feature, so it just surprised me.

Thanks!

Are we talking about the Patrol XP? IE: the shaded bars of xp that accumulate while the character is offline. When you log back in and earn (25%?) more xp until it's used up.

Yes, patrol XP. Sorry, bad habit to refer to it as rest XP.
