In all seriousness though, well done video. I find your humor in your guides and in your videos quite... well, humorous. And that was brilliant, showing how the Warshades can do damn well without Eclipse.

Might I add perfect song choice?

Great video.

Long time Burn Notice fan (I mean Bruce Campbell, how can you not love it). The voice overs are the best piece of the show and unfortunately later in the series they have gotten somewhat away from it. Still a decent compelling storyline with characters I enjoy and a great ensemble cast.

That's "back to basics" not duct tape tactics. Level 7 is even easier with slots gained from the higher levels too.

I is disappoint.

I do see people with high end builds that are very expensive that are going to be pretty poo exemplared down. Add to that I do see these builds that are very expensive, decent farmers but again, killable by a 10 times cheaper build in one on one PvP. The best they could probably do is keep TPing away to the timer runs out. We all sacrifice something for another.
Horses for courses, what's best or beautiful is in the eye of the beholder.

I'd describe duct tape tactics as what you do when making a character of one AT perform a role that is commonly regarded as that of another AT and get something done. A Blaster might say "We need a defender to do this" and you might say "You are it".

Edit: Yeah I'd have to watch that Burn Notice cos I like the do more with less methods.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

Well, I had to do something to compete with your video. :P I can't touch your choreography so humor and clever situations is what I have to rely on. I'm slightly upset at the rendered quality, especially how dark the screen is in the first section. I can't seem to render it well enough but not be a six gig video I'm trying to upload.

Heh, thanks. It was that song that gave me the character's name, so I thought it only fitting.

Honestly? I started watching because it had Bruce Campbell. I still watch Army of Darkness every Halloween.

Absolutely.

I think you're forgetting how poorly enhancements scale to that level. It's not that much better than a few TOs. Where I really made out like a bandit, though, was the purple enhancements giving me 50% recharge all told.

.

I enjoyed the prologue, video and the ongoing narrative.

Eclipse is a great tool. It can also be a great crutch.

The game is 1-50+ so I've always recommended multiple builds, or one build that can get the job done at any level. Of course, there are some folks who simply refuse to condescend.

Oh, and I find your distinct lack of inspiration use...uninspiring. Perhaps you were seeking to avoid the charge that those were your crutch then again perhaps not.

I have a problem with inspirations.

I'm sure I already told you this in game but I can't remember with absolute certainty, but this is really awesome. The forms really shine when exemped down and you've made great use of them, which isn't the least bit surprising.

For the exact same reason you laid out. I'd have my tray for my Blaster set perfect, with a column of BF's and a column of Blues etc etc.
Yet everytime I'd need one, I always held off, with that exact same voice saying 'you'll need it later'.

It wasn't til I started playing around running Blasters on the CEBR farm that I learned how to abuse inspirations. Now I spend more time with an empty tray than I do otherwise. I've even taken to just randomly clicking F1-F3 whenever it fills, sight unseen...

Nice job there, Dechs! Always enjoy watching fellow Khelds (who know what they're doing) in action!

By the way, how'd you get in the DD trial by yourself?

Yeah, it and Sons of Anarchy are the two shows I stay current with as much as I can. If you haven't already, I highly reccomend Bruce Campbell's autobiography "If Chins Could Kill". I haven't read his other book, but the first one is very entertaining.

Sorry for the off topic. As always, great video and much appreciated.

Yeah, this is one of the things I hoped to bring out in my video. I'm glad it stood out.

I didn't. That's just Dark Astoria's northeast corner.

The funny thing for me, watching this video, is that this is "kinda sorta, but not exactly like" the way I've been playing my Peacebringer after my latest respec ... which is pretty whack. My Warshade, Ms Terry, tends to be a lot more "stable" on forms, even though she's a Tri-former ... which is ... odd ... in that on my Warshade I don't feel a compulsion to keep switching around on forms all the time (including multiple times per fight).

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

Ah, ok... That explains why the enemies weren't lvl 54+2.

I wouldn't say that's too odd. My Peacebringer has been playing in a similar way himself. I'll be constantly hopping between nova and human to retain Inner Light, Light Form, and maximum AoE damage, then switching between human/dwarf for heals and conserve energy. I'm actually pretty happy Triform Peacebringers play similar to my Warshade, since I'm so used to the feeling. Aftermath keeps complaining about being too bright when I play my Peacebringer with him, though

Alright, this is starting to frost my tentacles.

I re-rendered the video under a higher quality and I uploaded that version. I'm happy that the quality has gone up, but there's still a problem. When I play the file in winamp, it's clear and bright. When I upload it to youtube, it gets all dark.

What the hell am I doing wrong?

Could have something to do with the brightness settings of your monitor... The video looks dark when I play it back too, which suggests that its actually getting rendered darker than it should be, but you're not noticing it because you're editing it in a brighter setting than is normal?

What are you editing it in? And what are you using to render it? And, have you done any "color enhancement" or brightness/contrast adjustments during the editing process?

It's edited and rendered with Sony Vegas. I'm not doing any sort of color or brightness adjustments while editing.

The raw footage and the rendered file appear bright when I play them back on my computer. The youtube file always looks darker once its uploaded.

I'm going to try one more time uploading a different file type. Best I can figure is that Youtube is converting my mp4 into something else to store it. I really didn't want to upload an uncompressed file because it will take all weekend, but that might just be what I have to do.

Think of it this way, if you don't use the ones in your tray and your tray is full you don't get the ones that drop. Inspirations are great, use em often when appropriate and you will do amazing things.
