Also it is NSFW lots of cussing and using the word r*pe, but funny none the less.

Saw this last night, and it is funny!

It does make a really good point near the end; Superman's rebirth was the start of the resurrection ball rolling downhill. Before that, if we had a dead character show up again, it was always a clone/shape-shifter/disguise/illusion. For example, Jean Grey: she was brought back in 1986, but it was explained that it was the Phoenix Force who lived in place of the real Jean Grey, who was in a cocoon in a lake.

Now, we don't have to make a weird reason why it wasn't really them; we just make a weird reason why they didn't really die in the first place. (I took a time bullet to the knee!)

I find your lack of signature disturbing.

The folks appearing in the video were funny. The dude ranting about Superman was full of krunk. Superman's death wasn't exactly the starting gun that kicked off comic characters getting resurrected, just the most high profile one. That and the dude lost points from the start by ragging on Superman to begin with.

The dude in question - the screenwriter of the superhero movie Chronicle and son of director John Landis - was playing the role of the hyperbollically ranting comics fan. Didn't the bottle of alcohol at his side tip you off that it's not meant entierly seriously? ("The Death of Superman didn't kill Superman - it killed death!")

Parodic though the short film is, he does make some good points in a very broad fashion. Stick around for Simon Pegg as John Landis toward the end.

Yea....they forgot about the Eletric Boogaloo Blue and Red supes.....

Oh nevermind...this is a completely unrelated story....although would be funny to see done the same way....

Some salient points about comics in general, and even the very game whose forums we frequent, I think.
