heh people always seem to miss that.

The reward merits to me are the biggest game changer with these packs.

everything else, no so much.

I think folks would still buy the packs even if they didn't have costumes or the wolf gated behind them, simply for the reward merits AND the ATOs.

For that reason I don't see any issue with them allowing folks to buy the costume set and wolf outright.

Blazara Aura LVL 50 Fire/Psi Dom (with 125% recharge)
Flameboxer Aura LVL 50 SS/Fire Brute
Ice 'Em Aura LVL 50 Ice Tank
Darq Widow Fortune LVL 50 Fortunata (200% rech/Night Widow 192.5% rech)--thanks issue 19!

I wonder if they intend to cycle out items like costumes and temp powers like the Wolf after a while replacing them with new ones, and offer them later on the market by themselves.

Still a ridiculous argument. Basically "Here, a Controller IO set! What, you only like playing melee so you feel like youv'e wasted your money? Well that's just YOUR FAULT isn't it?"

I don't get why people don't get this.

Costume set X = 400 points. You know you're getting a costume set, you know you have to spend 400 points for it.

Elemental costume set = ? points. You could get all the pieces right away. You could get a cruddy string of luck and get the "same" piece, you could get nothing for a long time - and meanwhile fill up with stuff you don't want.

So, no, you don't know what you're getting (and no, "A super pack" is not the correct response,) or how much what you *actually* want will cost.

Not me. I don't like "guess what you'll get this time." PS, in my case, would get more money from me releasing the items (the costume sets at least) for sale outside the pack. Guaranteed price with guaranteed result = a sale, in my case. (And I don't really care about the ATIOs.)

Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

I'll just requote Doc Roswell since you decided to come here instead of answer his question to you in the other thread.

And for the record I don't use any of the AT IO's. So I sold mine. <Derp!> and made 500 million inf.
