Toga, Sandals, and Laurel
I haven't personally seen them on either test or beta, but to be honest, I don't spend quite as much time pouring over those markets as I do the one on the live servers.
I've got a few minutes to kill, so I'm going to double-check on beta right now, but don't get your hopes up.
EDIT: Nevermind, beta's currently unavailable due to the new patch. I'll try to check later, if someone else doesn't post here first with the news.

Not that I've seen, either actually ON beta or in dev commentary. Only the clubwear (which is now live) and the Roman gear (which was last week).

Beta server just came back up. I checked, the Toga, Sandals and Laurel are not available... so there's little to no chance of them being made available this season, unless they've got some special 48-hour "Valentine's Day Sale" cooked up that they're hiding from us.

That's disappointing, but thanks for the replies.
It seems odd that they wouldn't do the same thing they did with the Christmas pieces. I'm glad to have the Roman pieces at least.

It's always possible that they intended the Roman pack to serve the same purpose as the Christmas and Halloween packs. After all they did make a big thing about
Roman = Roman(ce)
Cupid originally a Roman god that has become synonymous with romance.
Cupid's Bow added to the Roman Pack
From the advertisement
Shoot "Rome" into "Romance" with new featured items in the Paragon Market™! Cupid's bow shoots straight to the heart of romance in this costume bundle of Roman-inspired pieces! Like the Roman empire, this 23-piece set won't last forever--it's available in the Paragon Market until February 29, 2012! |
Still I myself would love it if they'd sell the Toga, Sandals, and Laurel on the market.
FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.
Keep your fingers crossed. After all Valentines Day falls on a Tuesday this year. Maybe they'll sell those costume pieces as a part of a one day sale or something.

From Wikipedia:
The first representation of Saint Valentine appeared in the Nuremberg Chronicle (1493); alongside the woodcut portrait of Valentine, the text states that he was a Roman priest martyred during the reign of Claudius II, known as Claudius Gothicus. He was arrested and imprisoned upon being caught marrying Christian couples and otherwise aiding Christians who were at the time being persecuted by Claudius in Rome. Helping Christians at this time was considered a crime. Claudius took a liking to this prisoner until Valentinus tried to convert the Emperor whereupon this priest was condemned to death. He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that failed to kill him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate. Various dates are given for the martyrdom or martyrdoms: 269, 270, or 273.[11] |
Am I remembering correctly that these pieces will be available at some point from the market, or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
