'Missing or Corrupt Files' Every update?

This happened to me and I got a redname to help me. In the end I had to reinstall through the NCsoft website, rather than the disk. I don't know why it helped but it did. BTW: You need to uninstall EVERYTHING. Launcher also. It's a pain in the **** but hasn't happened to me since.

Its happened to me twice, just re-installing the game as I type this. One guy said that running the game as administrator worked for him, but it didnt for me. Try it, could work for you 
Hopefully this doesn't apply to you, but:
I had this same problem at a time where a lot of OTHER issues were plaguing my computer as well - which turned out to be one of my RAM sticks going corrupt. So if your computer is acting like everything that could possibly be going wrong goes wrong at random times, that could be another possibility. Hopefully it's just a problem with the game on your end.

None of my other programs that update themselves have this problem.

I am also having this issue on my laptop, and while it was running well before the update, I am on my fourth uninstall/reinstall attempt. I have a feeling that I would not have this issue on my desktop, but as that is currently unavailable, I'm left with trying to fix this problem. I think what might be the case is that the install is complete, but my computer is unable to fully recognize it. Once the game installs, I can play it fine, but once I quit, I am left with the same issue as before.
