Regular missions currently only allow a +1 incarnate shift to apply. So if you are +1 +2 or +3, you will only see a +1 shift in normal content.
An incarnate shift is not really the same thing as a level shift, and rewards is one of the areas that illustrate that. If you are a 50+1 fighting level 50 minions, they will con blue to you. However, they will drop all rewards as if they were equal to your level (or, if you like, as if you were equal to theirs), including inf.

Thanks for the quick responses guys, Ive been looking over paragon wiki for the answer I just couldnt find it. I just came back to CoH after a 2 year break and Incarnate is taking me a while to figure out.

A level shift is basically just a buff so it does not affect your rewards.

If I am a lvl 50 (+3) does level shift apply in regular missions in the sense that if I am fighting a lvl 54 would I get the same influence drop that a lvl 50 would get or is it diminished?
