Alternatives for Bank Robberies, (stopping and comitting)
I made this suggestion about 2 years ago:
Villain: Swap the requirments. A villain robbed a bank in ___ and got away ... but was being chased by the cops and a hero. your job is to protect him and he'll give you a cut.
Hero: A bank has been robbed, your job is to go to Rogue Isles and get the money and perp back. Giving the hero an opportunitry to cause destruction in an enemy hide out ...
Could be fun.
I've never liked Safeguard missions as they were implemented and would welcome any change that made them...fun. I'm perfectly content to leave Mayhems alone, though. I think they're perfect.
your = Belonging to you.
you're = Contraction meaning "You are."
Ur = The name of an ancient Mesopotamian city.
ur = This is not a word.
How about this (this idea is one i have put in another thread but will repeat here) How about cover missions along the lines of what twigman said but adding more options even special contacts if so may completed successfully. Like heroes going to the rogue islands to get a villain, recover some thing stole, to disrupt some thing on the villain side, ect. And on the villain side doing some thing along those lines as well. And the special contact could give the hero or villain to go to the other sides areas to do special missions incognito. All of this with out switching sides
Some of my suggestions from posts i have done

One of the things I thought would be cool is a variant "chase" mission where the "level" is a series of vehicles racing down a roadway. you'd have to be timed of course, but the objective would be to leap from vehicle to vehicle attempting to catch up to the getaway car.
It would be a trip to see someone just attempt to make the mission because the 4 travel powers would all work wildly different in their usefulness, and I don't know that they could ever be balanced. it would be funny though if you teleported onto someone's car and they freaked out and lost control of their vehicle...
but yeah, it would be worth seeing in game.
you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you <3

swap rolles for villian side.
Something I was kicking around recently, I have played both hero and villain, I will say that while I love the villain mayhem missions to commit bank robberies the hero one for stopping it...well it kinda leaves me cold. I don't think they need to be gotten rid of, but it might be nice to have some alternatives, and I have a couple ideas for either side if anyone is interested and thoughts on this could be cool.
Manhunt: (Hero side) A massive jailbreak has occurred, you need to stop the escaped supervillains before they reach various escape vehicles. You can eliminate some of the escape vehicles, attack criminals to capture them, and help free up police to stop them by stopping other criminals and rioters.
Jailbreak: (Villain side) Certain supervillains are offering money, equipment, whatever for release, or perhaps Lord Recluse wants them busted out. Whatever the case, your job is simple, cause havoc to tie up the police and then break into the jail, bust open cells and release the villains. Stop heroes that might try to cause problems.
