Bug : Vanishing Skirts!
[Guide to Defense] [Scrapper Secondaries Comparison] [Archetype Popularity Analysis]
In one little corner of the universe, there's nothing more irritating than a misfile...
(Please support the best webcomic about a cosmic universal realignment by impaired angelic interference resulting in identity crisis angst. Or I release the pigmy water thieves.)
Paragon City is world renowned for its skirt dissolving waters.
Steamy Mist and Shadow Fall used to make skirts transparent too. It's been around so long that I haven't thought about noticing if they still do it.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Bug? Or Feature? Just depends on your point of view:
/myself, itssa feature.
August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012
It's a bug.
It funny because you need to say it out loud.

Belts do the same. I can't remember exactly, but I think any boots and patterns on the pants do too.
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
It's a bug. It's been in the game for at least 7 issues.
I'm surprised I haven't heard of any harrassment situations involving this bug, it'd certainly make it easier, I guess Paragon's legal department doesn't think that way.
Another item that dissapears is the Wedding Pack's tuxedo for females, the fancy one. The entire tux dissapears when in water... leaving you only with whatever is under the tux. No idea where this item is located in the paragon market, though.
Some Super Group Base items also cause this bug, particularly the arcane versions of the crafting tables (that let you build items for the base).
Between the Loyalists and Resistance, I'd be tempted to support Praetorian Hamidon.
One side uses mind police and will "disappear" you and the other uses poison gas and bombs on civilians. Hamidon? He'll just have a tree eat you. Much simpler. If we're all going to be oppressed and/or killed by someone, it might as well be the walking trees. At least they don't speak in annoying code or doublespeak. They just devour you. |
When a heroine wearing a skirt enters the water the skirt disappears leaving only the bottom visible.
I have pictures but I don't know how to add them.
