Easier way to get points?

Like I cant afford a vip every month and I dont want to pay to for like 3 months if I can only go on on weekends, and every thing seems so over priced and stuff, do they give out like free points and my brois a vet and since he instaled COV he got a mastermind and what not hen I should be able to install it and get the same!

No, they don't give free points to anyone unless they subscribe. Subscribers get 400 points per month subscribed (550 if they are Tier 9 subscribers).

Your brother has masterminds either because a) he has enough subscription time to unlock them permanently, b) he is a VIP subscriber, or c) he purchased them from the market. If you want masterminds, you will have to do the same.

As you've been told before Masterminds are only available to VIP's or Premium players that have unlocked the Archetype as a Paragon Reward.

Masterminds are unlocked at Tier 5. That means you have to own 10 reward tokens to unlock them.

If you aren't willing to subscribe you can get Paragon Rewards by purchasing Paragon Points. Every $15 dollars you spend gets you 1 reward. So Tier 5 will cost you roughly $150 dollars.

Or... you know, you could just buy the archetype unlock instead.

You could always ask Santa.

You would have to buy points to instantly hike up to t9. However, he asked about being a "tier 9 sub", so you'd have to tack on a subscription to be a t9 sub.

Cut the kid some slack. I think nobody has condensed the answers in one post and lets face it the premium reward system can be a little confusing.

You can buy Paragon Points from the NCSoft online store, sorry they don't have point cards like other games yet you can buy in a store like Target, BestBuy, 7-11, etc. $5 will get you 400PP, $15 - 1320PP, $50 - 4600 and $100 - 9600PP.

Now for every 1200PP you buy (points you get from subscribing doesn't count) or every month you are subscribed, you get a Paragon Reward Token. They are used to progress up the premium tiers plus grant you various costume pieces and consumable goodies like respecs and free costume changes. You need to be Tier 5, that's 13 tokens, to unlock Masterminds and Controllers as a non-subscriber or you can unlock those for 1200PP each through the Paragon Market.

So your choices are subscribe for a year to unlock Tier 5 (you should have 2 Tokens I think, one for going VIP and one for your first month) or buy 1200 Paragon Points through the NCSoft online store and buy the Mastermind Unlock through the Paragon Market. You could also subscribe for only 3 more months and if you save up the 400PP every month you get for that time to get the 1200PP to unlock Masterminds.

So to summarize:

You can buy a year (14 months until the end of the year) for a bit less than $150; or you can buy the $15 Points package and get 1320PP and buy the Mastermind Unlock; or subscribe for a few more months and hoard your Points stipend of 400PP per month until you have enough to buy the Mastermind Unlock.

I just became premium does it still cont for premium? An can I unlock other power sets through teirs im on my first tier 3, which 1 am I closes to getting?

I'm confused here, how did you become Premium?

Did you sign up for the monthly subscription or did you just make a purchase in the store of few things?
