So i have been looking at the Judgement Powers. I am leaning towards the newer one Vorpal. But i was wanting other peoples opinion on them. I have one toon that has the tier 4 Void. I like witht he -Damage

I see the Vorpal does +Def with doing damage in a cone.

Suggestions?

I suggest asking the Controller Forum.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Vorpal and Cryonic are both great cones. Cryonic has a chance to hold enemies, though. Might work for Controller.

My ill/rad went with Ion when it was bugged at the time, though I didn't know that; I just took the one which looked the best conceptually to my character.

When I pushed it to Tier 4, I went with Ion Radial Final Judgement for a chance to hold everything in sight. In retrospect, I could have gone with the one for damage, but I enjoy being a controller, so extra holds work just as well for me.

Whatever your other concerns, Vorpal can be made to look a lot like a 40-strong Phantom Army blipping in to kick people in the face. I feel this is quite relevant.

Personally Im using Vorpal on my Blaster. It works good for her, although be very carefull. When they said Wide Area Cone, what they meant was "Kick everything on the screen in the face" While excellent, if it does not kill stuff, then you have a whole lot of aggro, and will aggro things you were not even aiming to hit.

Cryonic is something I use on my Grav Troller, and I have the chance for hold, which is excellent. I would really suggest this as being the best option.

I went Pyronic for pure damage on my Ill/Sonic troller, though only T3 so far. I'd think Cryonic would be good as well for the chance of AoE hold. I have yet to see Vorpal in action but if the animation looks that cool it may well be worth it.

The pro SS/Fire farmers say Ion has some bug that it ends up hitting more targets than it's supposed to. I don't know because I took Pyronic on mine and I don't feel like taking that toon out of the AE and Market to do more iTrials.

The animation is very quick and subtle, your teammates may not even notice it. But I like it a lot and took it on my Stalker, even though unlike Pyronic or Ion, I have to jump back to use it since she's a melee toon. Damagewise it's very good, the only disadvantage to others is being smashing damage plus lethal DoT.
