Like Soulbound once equipped?
Sounds good to me, it's certainly a shame to let these once sought after rewards just languish because there's gear that's easier (albeit more expensive) to acquire and give more utility.
The word is "attuned" (auto-tune is a pitch corrector/modifier popular in 80s music and some recent music 
), but I would not be averse to such a thing.

I'm guessing this is one of those suggestions that won't get torn apart because the players agree it should happen?

I don't see a need for them to be account bound on equip, but attuned would be cool. As you say, might breathe a little more life into the content. It would also let them be used as low-level "placeholders" for builds that call for things HOs can do.

Not that lower market prices is a bad thing, from my perspective it very much isn't. I'm just saying, a change like this is likely to have an effect.

Special Origins, once the great reward for the special trials and tasks have now been eclipsed by IOs and the new market enhancers.
Crystal Titan Origin Enhancements
Hydra Origin Enhancements
Synthetic / Hamidon Origin Enhancements
To make these enhancements desirable again, I am suggesting that they become attuned enhancements from 35-50 (with a scaling increase/decrease in value).
