Nothing you acquire while a VIP ever gets deleted, you just lose access to some of it until you become a ViP again.
You will lose access to Incarnate stuff automatically upon your subscription running out, but things like SSAs, Going Rogue, First Ward, etc. will be available for purchase separately.
And if you bought Going Rogue separately to begin with, you will keep side-switching, alignment merits and Praetoria access upon dropping to Premium.
The alignment merits may end up being largely worthless to you though unless you bought an Invention license or are a long term vet and get it for free.

I still think that they should give Premiums a taste of Incarnate with a t1 Alpha and the ability to have 4 shards at a time. This would prevent them from hoarding shards while giving them the ability to craft a tier 1 Alpha and see a very small bit of what they're missing. But I understand why they feel they shouldn't even open the door to that.

I disagree ... FEW things truly separate a VIP and freemium... Incarnates is a HUGE bonus and as such should be for those willing to fork over the $15 a month.

Oh, I agree that the Incarnate System is the major draw for VIP, if you're high up on the Rewards tree anyway. I just think that giving people a small taste of it - maybe even making it so they can only have 3 salvage pieces at a time (just enough to craft a t1) - would end up with more VIP subscriptions. In other words, people really don't know what they are missing. Sure, they can see people flinging Lightning and stuff around, but until they actually experience the system first-hand they may not really see the differences it can make. And really, the T1 is just a taste.
I have a question....if I have a tanker at +3 incarnate, and I decide to drop my VIP status, and go free, do I retain that incarnate abilities I obtained before I quit paying?
