Error on my character select

This is pretty strange. I made this character, then loaded into the game to see I spelled the name wrong. I came out to delete/remake, and see in the deletion prompt that the name is spelled correctly there.



Is there a fix for this?

I would load the character in, go to a trainer and select to change the costume, don't make any changes but save the costume as it is, exit the game and go back to the character select screen.

Delete the character using the spelling as it is shown in the delete confirmation box. If that doesn't work, delete it using the spelling shown in the character selection menu and in the game. One of those two should delete it. If it deletes, quickly remake the character using the saved costume file and make sure the name is spelled right before completing the character creation.

If it doesn't delete, file a ticket at https://support.cityofheroes.com/ and they should be able to help you in getting it fixed.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

A problem has been identified. The 'misspelling' should only show up at the character selection screen. Your character should show up as "Aureus" to other players and everywhere else in the game. If this is not the case, please let us know.

A fix for the problem at the character selection screen should be coming in a future patch (Soon™)

The misspelling is also in the costume load screen. I havent seen it anywhere else yet.
