What is the difference between the Shadow Shard TFs?
faathim the kind tf and sara moore have fairly unique AVs at the end, the only other place in the game you will find them is the CoP trial
faathim the kind tf has lanaruu the mad (which pre incarnates and pre IOs was known as the hardest AV in the game)
sara moore has ruladek the strong which isnt as strong as lanaruu he is unique (the map he is on totally sucks though the fog in it is awful)
justin augustine is meh cause 75% of the tf your just fighting grey conning baddies in zone hunts and it, like dr q, has no AVs at the end
edit: also a note about lanaru in in faathim tf, if you kill him 5 times in sg mode you get an sg badge, its only for a defensive item though

That is helpful. Thanks. I do remember the fog now that you say it.

heres the wiki pages for the tfs if you want more detailed info
dr quarterfield
sara moore
faathim the kind
justin augustine

Nitpick: Dr. Q only has one "R" in his name. Quaterfield, not Quarterfield.

Even the name is too long.
Dr. Q and Sara Moore are 40+, cap at 45 I think.
JA and Faathim are 44+.
Dr. Q is the longest TF in the game. Stupidly long, 22 missions mostly kill all with no big finale, no AV or anything. Just lots and lots of merits.
JA is the most unrewarding TF in the game. Lots and lots of hunts, only a couple of actual door missions, and also no payoff except for merits.
I tend to think of Sara Moore as the "good" lower level shard TF and Faathim as the "good" higher level TF. Both are still fairly long but fun. Dr. Q can be worth running if you have a good team, it's a lot of merits for 3-4 hours of work (never takes us a full four hours though). JA I only do if I absolutely have to for the badge.

my lil RWZ Challenge vid
ive run faathim a few times over the weekend and the avg time ive gotten was 2:15 to 2:40 (basically depends on how coordinated everyone is with the glowies and how fast you can do the defeat alls)
lanaruu is but a shadow of his former self, hes almost trivial to defeat with incarnate powers
on a side note all of this talk of the shadow shard is making me want to suggest they add the other zones of the shard which do not appear in game (The Repository, The Garden of Memories, The Palace as well as their accompanying AVs)

I have done them all on my badger.
Doc Q is the worst as far as I am concerned because of the length. I have done it exactly 2 times in 6 years and have no desire to ever do so again. Yes it awards a lot of merits but I can do 2 or 3 shorter tfs in the time required .. and thats now that jet packs are available and so is the ouro portal.
Justine Augustine runs a very close second. It isnt all that long but as mentioned almost half the missions involve hunts in zones that have you attacking mobs well below the level that offers and sort of xp, inf, salvage or anything else. I did it a while back when we were all still deserate for shards and because half the missions were against forces too low to award anything else it also gave u almost nothing in the way of shards. The badge aside it seemed like a total waste of my time.
Faathima and Sara Moore were far better to run with, in my opinion, Faathim the kin being the best and most interesting.

I think I have done all of the Shadow Shard TFs at some point. Besides Dr. Q being the longest, I am not sure I could tell you which is which. Is there something that sets them all apart from each other?

Trust me, you will KNOW which is Q. It is the one that makes you want to kick puppies and drown babies and delete your newly purpled toon.
All the shard TFs need a nice overall, maybe in the manner of the Two Part posi (or 1239021390 parts in Q's case).
Not sure if these TFs were EVER done to a great degree, or just what the designers were thinking (yes, we love killing mobs at -5 for no reward) but having some of the coolest looking zones in the game empty just does not make sense.

Dr. Q. is so great, that I wouldn't do it again even for month of free subscription.
Sarah and Faathim are not bad, but they would be much better if they were shorter (and giving Faathim cell phone or some sort of telepathic communication would help a lot).
Justin can be done quick, think it can be done in 1-1:30h, with some team coordination. Still fighting grays in not much of fun.
Shadow shards have the best design in the game, and I hope that devs will find time to fix it content one day.
