When were certain villain groups introduced?

/this, coralax were more thrown in there for the heroes complaining how hard it was to get the badge for them, although with GR that point became moot anyway lol

Mind you, everything in Issue 1 was in progress if not finished at launch - they did the 40-50 game as an update so they could work more on the "early game" (and didn't expect people to focus so hard on single characters)

Prisoners XP and INF were lowered on purpose due to their extremely limited attacks and range.

They were a Hover Blasters dream during Beta. Lots of reward, no risk.

Rather than add some dangerous long range attacks (like they did with the Hydra in Perez Park when they added the long range Spit that has -Fly in it) they simply lowered the rewards.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

hydra are still only like 0.6 reward scale anyway so even with the attack still kind of pointless to fight

They used to be a bit better. They got the reward scale reduced and the Spit with -Fly at the same time.

I got lots of easy XP in Beta hover sniping the Hydra until they added this. Between the Spit and the reduction, they weren't worth it anymore to me.

I still remember seeing groups forming Hydra parties in Perez Park during Beta and the early days of the game. It was ok, but I didn't find it fun.

Coralax were always part of the lore of the Hollows and Eastgate Bay:

History Plaque in Hollows:

"This building once housed the lab of Dr. Calvin Stewart, who pioneered Eastgate Bay's Seaview project. Since the Hollowing, Dr. Stewart has been forced to abandon the lab, and communication with the Seaview project has been erratic. Very little is known by the public about the scientists' activities in Eastgate Bay. "

Stephanie Peebles' mission "Stop the Council attack":

"I've got a fish story for you, character, and it's a beaut. Seems some researchers over in Eastgate Bay just pulled into port. Say they were attacked by some sort of 'fish monsters,' and they barely escaped with their lives! They even say they've got one of the creatures on ice down in their hold. "

and the Clue : The scientists' find: "The contents of this crate can only be described as bizarre. The creature in stasis within is definitely fish-like, but easily the size of a man. Its long, powerful arms look capable of ripping a boat to shreds. "

HA HA HA..that is awesome information. It'll teach me to read some things more. I still liked it being less mob types, but I cannot complain that it makes no sense!

I had forgotten about those. It's been awhile since I ran Striga's arcs.
