It's almost Auction time!! Volunteers needed :)

Hi everyone! For the past two years, I have run Victory's character/player auction. I plan to run it again this year (on Dec 3rd). I am looking for people who would like to be auctioned off or for donations of services, team spots, prizes, etc.

Those who wish to be auctioned:
You must be willing to spend 4 hours with whoever buys you. It can be in chunks of 1 hour, 2, hours, or 4 hours... whatever is mutually agreeable. You must be willing to do whatever the buyer requests as long as it is acceptable under the TOS. PLing and inf farming are discouraged, but if you are okay with it, that is your choice. You will get 25% of the amount bid on you to keep for yourself (unless you choose to donate it back to PERC for future events). You do not need to be present at the auction to be an auctionee.
**note, I will not take any auctionees at the auction, so if you want to volunteer, you must do it ahead of time.

Those who wish to donate services:
This may include art, build designing, base building, shopping, costume designing, bio writing, etc. All services must be specific and must be completed within a reasonable time frame of the end of auction.

Those who wish to donate team spots:
You can offer up a spot on a team for a masters task force, to get a rare badge, etc. This should be something that is specific and special (aka a spot on a random team for 2 hours would not qualify). Please make sure if you are offering this that you have 7 people total (or less if you need less) who will be willing run this team.

Those who wish to donate prizes:
You may contact me and tell me what you wish to donate or email it to me in game with instructions. These donations can be anonymous or recognized, your choice.

This was an incredibly successful event last year and I was able to use lots of the inf generated to run other events and give out prizes. If you would like to volunteer for any of this, then please send me a PM (make sure to include your globals) or talk with me in game. I will not be taking volunteers straight from this thread. I'll volunteer for this (to be auctioned).

I have experience with pretty much all of the task/strike forces in the game and have multiple characters across nearly all the servers, including several level 50s on Victory. My presence on Victory is primarily blue-side, but I do have one villain and could move a few heroes to vigilante given enough notice if a particular role was required for whatever the buyer wanted to do. I'm an avid badgehunter and would be more than happy to help organize and educate with respect to that aspect of the game as well. While I don't have the ability to offer a Master run TF team for the auction as my own schedule is somewhat erratic, I would also be more than willing to be a participant in such a run.

I'd put myself up for bid, but I doubt anyone would want me.

i would be tempted to put myself up for auction, but i wont because if the same thing happens as the previous 2 years where one rich guy buys out everyone and makes them do silly things

Badges, Mo_, costumes, someone to laugh at bad jokes, critique fanfics, proofread thesis (I'm actually a pretty good technical writer/editor), there's no end to the pain I will endure for a good cause.

Masque bought me and made me do content (tf's) it was aweful!!!!!

since word has reached me that pretty much all my posts on this were taken the wrong way...

i was not trying to discourage poeple from joining the event nor was i bashing the event. the previous events were very entertaining to watch and were quite fun (the first year of the event i ended up winning the jackpot raffle prize which was like 1.3 bil inf)

the point that i was trying to make was that i would only volunteer myself if i was not made to do something i very much disliked such as PVP (this is when my first post got misinterpreted and it kinda fell apart there)

so i do apologize to MP if my post original post came across wrong (and what appeared to be arguing due to the original misinterpretation)
