Shotgun in Market
The market needs items that need to be replaced after being used to generate a steady cash flow. Inspirations and temp powers are amongst those items.
If you aren't willing to pay for the shotgun on the market then you can get it as often as you like by doing the Rid the mausoleum of the Banished Pantheon mission via the Ouroborus flashbacks.
I understand this but other Free-to-Plays don't sell items that are one use other than rezes and such. You won't find 20 use weapons.
Replaceable doesn't matter if no one buys them in the first place. An item that is for zombie attacks that doesn't even get you through 1 zombie attack isn't going to sell repeatedly or otherwise.

Isn't the anti-zombie shotgun a 75-use weapon? There's a 20-use regular shotgun handed out as a Mayhem/Safeguard Mission arms deal glowie, but the anti-undead one has considerably more charges.

(And it's not just useful during zombie invasions, either. It also has full effectiveness on Banished Pantheon, Circle of Thorns demons, Tsoo Ancestor Spirits, and Croatoa/Ghost Ship ghosts, just like the ghost-slaying axe.)

Yes. The undead shotgun is identical to the temp power you get from the mission. It even clearly says it has 75 shots in the description of the undead package on the market. If a person takes time to read it.

However I don't think the number of charges is the issue for the OP. I think he's more upset that an offensive power is being sold.

I still think it would be a better idea to sell permanent character items, as people make alts for this game all the time and would eventually have to replace the character item.

Being able to buy character items in discounted bundles would also be great.

I looked at the new zombie defense offering and thought "I'd never spend actual money on a temp power with X uses unless it was a lot more powerful than that."
I was thinking what WOULD make me break out the cash without unbalancing the game?
For me a permanent temp power that ONLY works on zombies in Zombie Apocalypse would be far superior, I mean 20 rounds wouldn't even get you half way through 1 Zombie attack.
An even better option would be a permanent power that does full damage to Zombies in Zombie Apocalypse and undead in Halloweeen Events (minor damage otherwise). But with a new type of refresh. 6 shots (I'm in California you can't load more than that here) with short refresh then one long refresh while you round up new shellls and load them. This would actually give it more of an semi-auto shotgun feel AND keep it from being overused at the same time.
Multiple refresh times like this could make a number of powers useful without being totally game changing or unbalancing.
