I didn't know him, but his Illusion/Sonic guide is what inspired me to make what turned out to be a surprisingly fun controller.

Awww, jeez... I didn't know him well, but we used to exchange PM's from time to time. I remember him as a thoughtful, intelligent man with a great sense of humour and, of course, a Dune fan like me!

This is tragic
I knew Muad_Dib as much as you can know someone online. We talked frequently here and on deviantART where he goes by DJWoody. He was a fellow collector and had many pieces of art done of his main character Acoustic Delusions. From artists such as David Nakayama, Brandon McKinney and Graver among others.
I met him at the 2007 HeroCon as well and he always came across as shy and bit of an oaf but that was his charm. Honest and kind soul and in the prime of his life taken from us way too soon. I'll miss our talks about life and art and think of him fondly when I remember him. City of Heroes lost a hero.

Wow. I'm stunned. We didn't run in the same virtual circles and I don't remember that we ever directly interacted, but I'm still really sad to hear about the loss of any of our family.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

My condolences to his friends and family. My limited interactions with him over the years have always left a happy feeling with me. He was a good guy. I enjoyed his posts and our occasional conversations.

It's always sad to see the CoH family get smaller, especially like this. My condolences to his loved ones.
Although I didn't know him except from the forums, it's always sad to lose a member of the community. My condolences to his friends and family.

I had the pleasure to meet Maud Dib at the 2007 Meet & Greet. We didn't get to spend a lot of time talking, but chatted for a few minutes while I took a short break from taking pictures.
