In general, the movies do indeed suck. Most of them bear little resemblance to the original material. Of the ones I've seen only A Scanner Darkly really sticks (mostly) to the source. Not that it's a great movie.

But seriously, once they rolled back the Emp nerf of BAF/Lam, and the Emp gating of the new powers, this thread had served it's purpose. Why not devote this thread to the paranoid ravings of a madman... and VALIS?

Voo can deny it all he wants, but I see what you did there. Well done, good sir!

You stuck with Glee a lot longer than I did. That "second" first season didn't match up with what they did in the first half, and my wife and I gave up after that. The pilot is still one of the best pilots I've seen, though.

Anyway, anyone try out the new Trials yet? How do they stack up? I'd rather find out here than on the beta forums.

He was definitely pretentious and relatively ostentatious, but I wouldn't say a madman............
