Also, it apparently works differently depending on the age of the account. Z seems to be big on legitimate communications among and with te community. The big concern with is more "why" than the fact that it works.

While the code does indeed deserve to be scrutinized for possible bugs... instead of, say, an accidental commit of future features... Let us not forget that some of the greatest features in the game were originally bugs.
Mayhem Missions, I'm looking at you... and applauding.
Z, if you haven't already, please add my name to the list of those who want free players to be able to respond to tells, legitimately or otherwise.
Please, please let them use this, bug or not. We got someone from the other MMO we play to come to CoX to give it a shot and I'd really, super much like them to want to stay. They won't be so keen on it if we can't even communicate back and forth.
