basically i want to know how the "wishlist" system works.
if i put something on my wishlist can anyone actually see it?
is there an actual point to the wishlist option?
if i know a friend has something on their wishlist can i get it for them with my points?
etc etc etc

if anyone can answer these i would appreciate it.

The only person who can see your wishlist is you. The only account that can buy anything for you using the wishlist is your own account. It should be named something else.

It's to quickly find items you have stumbled across and want in the future instead of trying to remember on which page of which subsection of which category it's found in.

I don't see any reason to change the name. A wishlist is a wishlist, not a gift list.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

This. Like, basically EVERY online store I buy from has a wishlist just like the one on Paragon Market. Amazon, Brazilian stores, Korean videogame ones, whatever.

Amazon is a false example. Amazon's wishlist is not "just like" Paragon Market's. Amazon allows other people to purchase off of your wishlist. In fact, most websites allow other people to purchase off your wishlist; that's the point of them most of the time.

Would love to use the PMarket wishlist in Amazon fashion.

I think this is a case where Amazon has a gift registry but calls it a wishlist. Since Amazon is so big and all you young folk have been using it for all your teen and adult life you all assume that a feature like that is called a wishlist everywhere.

NewEgg has wishlists but are just like Paragon Market's. You can use it to add items for checkout but no one else can. You can make the list public and even e-mail it to another but a third party can't directly buy you stuff with your wishlist like they can at Amazon.
