Execution time of awaken inspirations?

This is something that's been bugging me for quite some time now. It just happened again, reminding me to ask:

Okay, I've been defeated, but I have some inspirations left. Here's plan: Stack a Restauration, an Escape, a Phenomenal Luck, and a Resurgence over each other in the last tray column, press F5 four times, and run away to rest and prepare for the next round...

but it doesn't always work like that. Sometimes you stand up and are good to go, but sometimes the game doesn't allow you to use the other inspirations before the rez animation has finished.
Meaning that you're still mezzed, can't move very fast, and the mobs that defeated you in the first round are very happy to demonstrate that they can, in fact, do so again ...
while you helplessly press F5 over and over, watching as the game blinks the Escape to inform you that no, you're still doing the Restauration animation and are not allowed to use Escape just yet.
And so you finish the Restauration animation in exactly the place you started it in - defeated on the floor.

I'd accept that Restaurations aren't made for in-combat use ... were it not for the fact that sometimes they do allow you to use other inspirations immediately, enabling a more or less safe getaway.

Why is that? Am I doing something wrong? Am I too slow? (Is it that short window of time during which other rezzes that turn you invincible for a few seconds haven't yet done so, allowing a fast shooter to defeat you immediately in response to your activation of the power?)

Thanks for any insights on this,

Break Frees are supposed to work immediately but the Lag Monster can ruin it. It can delay the break free but also it can disrupt the chain so that the Luck will try to go off first after the Rez.

I feel the pain here. Once upon a time, it was possible to hit the Rez, a Breakfree and a Catch a Breath and get out of Dodge, or pop more inspirs and get right back into the fight.

Nowadays, Rez animations for players and for NPCs act quite differently. When Freaks rez, for example, I cannot even TARGET them for a period of time, much less attack them. Meanwhile, it seems that the bad guys have no problem pounding me into a greasy stain before my Breakfree even fires off.

I dunno if that is Lag, as Klaw suggests, or Working As Intended TM or what. I just know that a Combat Rez using Inspirs is not possible for me any longer.

Fortunately, I received the Vet Rez Return to Battle due to my tenure right as CoH Freedom launched, so that is a HUGE help. It was tough sledding prior to that.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

When an NPC rezzes if you had them targetted, you lose the target and cannot get it back for a moment. Pets and confused NPCs can target these rezzers. They can be hit with AoE attacks like the rains and fire sword circle. Some of them (most notably Siege in the final stage of the BAF) don't get their "toggles" up immediately and are quite a bit more vulnerable than you'd expect if you can hit them at this time. I've seen siege beaten down to below 50% before he could finish standing back up and before he was targettable. After he stood up we were only doing about 1% a second to him.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

You do have to allow time for the orchestra to modulate to a major key and play your main theme music with a lot of brass, indicating your character's indomitable spirit has kicked in.

Of course if you get chopped down in the next instant, the music trails off in a comic discord, with a final bleat from the trombones.

My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.
