I would really like to spec my WS out to be my main Hero I play but I'm not really sure what i should be looking for, I'd really like to go Tri-form because thats how i want to play but i dont mind human if it works well in a team, id like to use this ws as a end game content character so the new TFs and incarnate trails and stuff...

I'm just returning from a while break...

So if you can help me with a little bit of advice and maybe a simple build to start with id really appreciate it ...thanks all LB

The #1 question, which will pretty much define the answers, is: how much of a bankroll are you working with, what IOs do you have stashed away, and how many alignment merits & reward merits do you have lying around?

Alignment merits are great for cutting costs on non-purp, non-PVP IOs. If you use alignment merits, LotG 7.5s, Miracle & Numina Uniques, and more cost 40M + crafting costs instead of 150M-200M. That can save you a billion or more right off the bat.

At some point, though, you end up either digging into a stash of IOs or hitting the markets. Purples & PVPs can make for a bankbreaking experience if you aren't a marketeer or frugal elsewhere. Even the other stuff will run you 1B-2B if you have to buy it all.

Dechs Kaison's MFing Warshade... Follow the tenets and you too will destroy.

There are a few things I do that I recommend for WS slotting:

1) 6 slot Gravity Well - 4 Basilisk's Gaze, 1 Lockdown (the +2 mag hold proc), 1 damage
2) 6 slot Dark Extraction - 4 Expedient Reinforcement, 2 Soulbound Allegiance
3) 6 slot Eclipse with the following-
a) Reactive Armor-Resist/Recharge
b) Impervium Armor-Resist/Recharge
c) Titanium Coating-Resist/Recharge
d) Aegis-Resist/Recharge
e) 2 slots of Efficacy Adaptor - End.Mod./Acc, End.Mod./Rech

There are others, but these define what I think important.

I actually ran an ITF with Dechs last night, he asked me if my Warshade was of the MFing variety. I didn't know actually what that was. Active CoH fan, not so much on the forums though. I just registered my forum account a few months ago. Although, I originally joined the game in 2005. That being said, I will read the guide...better late than never
As far as some Warshade advice. I would start out as a Tri-form, and after you level up to a point where eclipse becomes available I would try respecn' to a human only. Once you hit 50 make a decision from there. Whether you're human only or a tri-former will be a deciding factor on how you build your hero. My peacebringer is a tri-form, and enjoy shape-shifting and taking advantage of all the skills available. My Shade is a human only, mainly for concept and a bit of variety between my two epics though. Either way, you can't go wrong with a Kheldian. No matter which way you put him/her together...their that good!

This is actually a pretty good starter build. There's no reason you can't get this character slotted up for a few hundred mill and kicking butt right away. You'll want to push the envelope and get some purples but you can work on those at your leisure.

Good spotting with the recharge buff taunt set. A lot of people don't know that trick. I would slot Gravity Well for damage rather than hold. Later on you can max out both if you use HOs.

The Regenerative Tissue +regen is a good choice. Make it a much higher priority than the Miracle +recovery, which is a bit of a parakeet gland for a Warshade.

This is good advice especially if you just started in an adventure and do not have fluffies yet. I like to run in, hit a Lt with GW and then start my dance, stopping long enough to raise my fluffy, and explode the corpse to take out whatever is left around after the two mires and two nova shots.
