Ice slotting

I'm trying to figure out an ice/time build but the guides are outdated and it seems like nobody uses ice control so it's hard to find anything! I assume I want to slot for recharge so chrono shift/glacier/ice slick are up as often as possible? I'm also totally stuck on Jack Frost, I have no idea what to put in there.

I should add that I don't want to slot for damage in the primary powers because it's so weak to begin with and I'd rather be more efficient at controlling; I never solo so damage isn't really an issue. I'll also be taking the ice APP, probably just ice blast, ice storm and frozen armor.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I think people are hesitant to provide much detail on the new sets until MIDs is updated.

However, neither set is hurt by slotting for more recharge. If you plan to run arctic air with other toggles as well, make sure you're slotting sufficently enough, until incarnates, for endurance as toggles like arctic air are huge endurance hogs.

As for Jack Frost, I wouldn't worry about him, I'd slot 4 call to arms IOs for the 6.75% recharge bonus and call it a day. Slotting him the best you can for accuracy and damage, since you should have to recall him often.

Haste is your friend in this build, I'd shoot to get that perma, which shouldn't be hard using time. Ice slick will be easy enough to perma if you go that route.

Time Manip is still pretty new so there are few builds posted. It's sort of similar to Radiation in some ways though. Here is the slotting on my Ice/Radiation to see as a basic starting point.

I haven't gotten my /Time character high enough to judge how end-heavy it is (and he's elec control primary, so it's even less of an issue for him anyway), but my Ice/Storm/Ice is an ENORMOUS endurance hog. She runs Cardiac Core T4 and I still have to use Ageless on cooldown if I'm running Arctic Air (and not infrequently without it either!). If you're playing Ice/ and planning to take many toggles, especially leadership and/or fighting toggles, slot well for endurance management, you'll need it.

@Draeth Darkstar
Virtue [Heroes, Roleplay], Freedom [Villains], Exalted [All Sides, Roleplay]
Code:
I24 Proc Chance = (Enhanced Recharge + Activation Time) * (Current PPM * 1.25) / 60*(1 + .75*(.15*Radius - 0.011*Radius*(360-Arc)/30))
Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.

Thanks for the ideas! Yeah, Time I'll have to figure out by myself, it's just ice that I wasn't sure about.

Time is fairly end heavy, but not so much that you can't solve the problems some liberal use of endrdx enhancements and maybe some unique enhancements in health, especially considering that chronoshift, which is at 38 given, will help with end issues. I think most time builds will go for a spiritual, there are a few abilities in time which like recharge(chronoshift chief among them), and it has enough healing to like that boost as well, and control sets always like a little recharge.

With basic end reduction slotting, the endurance is manageable. You do need to keep an eye on things and be willing to turn off a toggle or two if you find yourself having to slow down. Even with nothing but Arctic Air running, however, it's still a very strong support build.
