I bought $50 worth of additional points and have about 2000 in 'storage' now.

I had 1600 points. I'm assuming we got 800 points for this month, the 400 free points we accumulated each month since July and another 400 points for the normal monthly points we get as a VIP. Now, I'm not sure if it was suppose to work like that, but it seems like it did. Either that or like Claws said, they gave us extra points for downtime.

I got 1750 on my main account, 1600 on my second account I created in July. It may be we received the 400 each month that they banked on the 1st (or as soon as the account was created), then we got 400 (or 550) for the launch.
What I want to know is how someone got 2375? 
That is not possible with any permutation of rewards they have announced.

One of the tier 8 or 9 rewards is an additional 150 points per month, that could account for the 1750 and 2375s.
By my math I should have 800-1200 points, but I have 1600. I have a feeling they might have granted us some extra points to make up for things taking so long to get rolling on Tuesday. If that's the case, it was a nice thing to do. We lost a day of play time, but got a months worth of points? Sounds like a good deal to me.
See, it's gems like these that make me check Claws' post history every once in a while to make sure I haven't missed anything good lately.
