The EPIC Archtype unlocked message does not apply to Praetorians. The only EPIC Archtypes are for having a Hero or a Villian get to 20.

Not in terms of rewards, there isn't. I guess being a Praetorian is its own reward.
i got the same msg with my lvl 20 praetorian. and i alrdy have the eats of vill and hero. prolly just a bug though. not going to hype myself up hoping for peats, the devs have wayyy too much on their hands.
Awh. I guess I'll have to level up a 20 legit from now on... but Praetoria is so pretty...
So there's no benefit, like extra rewards or anything, for going gold-side? I've heard it's harder than usual 1-20 content too.
I suggest petitioning this. It's going to happen more and more and the devs need to either remove the notification and warn everyone who starts in Praetoria or award the unlock.

You get that message every time you get a character to 20. whether in Paragon, the Isles, or in Praetoria, and whether or not you have already unlocked epics.
I think the biggest reward for leveling a Praetorian is that the first super group you join gets a bonus 100,000 prestige. That right there is a huge benefit for small groups. I am involved in a couple small (like 2 players with our alts) groups on a few servers, and running Praetorian characters to 20 and bringing them in once they reach Paragon has been a tremendous help in being able to afford to build our bases.
How much can that buy? I was thinking of maybe getting a vanity SG, and I do have two Praetorians...

Realistically, it's not a LARGE amount. However, It's not one to be scoffed at, either. It can buy a room, or a couple moderately priced base items. (Or hundreds of vanity items.)

Hi all, new to the game.
I got two level 20s through Praetoria this weekend and apparently the 'EPIC ARCHETYPE UNLOCKED'... doesn't apply for me. Is there any benefit given for leveling in Praetoria rather than the standard areas if you intend to roll on the Archetype's normal side?
