This is a toon I have been tinkering with for over a year. I posted a build for it way back when. It was shot down do to its endo issues, lack of this, lack of that, etc.. I have finally gotten it to were I wanted it to be thx to incarnate abilities. I know super reflexes isnt one of the best secondaries and has its flaws. But this toon is so much fun to play its not funny. The DPS is unbelievable. In the right hands this toon is very dangerous. Please critique. Any and all comments are taken with a grain of salt. Any thing to make this toon better is appreciated! 8) Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.942

You should be slotting Cobra Strike for damage. Since i18 (I think) it's had it's stun effect toned down but it's damage, endurance cost, recharge time and animation time are all equal to Crane Kick's. You could even drop Crane Kick and it's knockback entirely.

You're mistaken. SR is one of the best secondaries. Not top-tier, no, but beautifully balanced and elegantly simple in design. Few would argue that its not an absolute beast in late-game.

I have a fine sense of balance. When a set is just too weak or just too strong, I don't like it (Willpower (overpowered), Shield (overpowered) and Energy Aura (weak)...I'm looking at you!) SR is neigher too strong nor too weak. Like Invulnerability, it is very well balanced. If it has a bad reputation at all, it's only because of outliers like the aforementioned WP and Shield being allowed to steal one of SR's best tricks: 95% DDR (only Shield "steals" 95% DDR, not WP. WP is just straight up sick).

Fix that bug, dern it!

Hi, I like your build. A few things I recommend are:

-Slot Storm Kick with Hecatomb instead of Eagles Claw. More rech, dam and acc for a more frequently used power.
-Slot Cobra Strike with a Melee IO set.
-Drop Crane Kick for Crippling Axe Kick. KB feels counter productive on a scrapper imho (But it does look fricken awesome).
-Slot Kismet +acc IO into Agile or another auto defense power. The power Kismet is slotted in needs to be active for the acc bonus to take effect.
-Lose the Force Feedback +rech proc in Dragon's Tail and slot with Fury of the Gladiator proc -dam res. If you can run your attack chain, decent recharge on Fireball and Focus Chi, the Glad proc will be more useful.

I would consider dropping Elude and either Stealth or CJ. Pick up Aid Other and Aid Self. This would give you the option to replace Rebirth Radial Destiny for Ageless. Then swap Cardiac with Musculature Alpha.

I can't seem to find my MA/SR Mid's build. I can recreate it pretty fast, let me know if you need it.

I agree that MA/SR rocks! I've had a lot of fun on mine.

I've never purpled-out a character, and was wondering if it is really worth it. How much did this build cost?! How much do you gain over a well-IO'd build without purples?

My only other feedback is that I slotted Cobra Strike for Damage, and Crane Kick for Knockback, with a set of Kinetic Crashes. I love using Crane Kick for the final blow, knocking the mob all the way across the room as he is defeated (or even better punting him off a bridge or other high place!)

I'm really liking my up and coming MA/SR scrapper, he's themed as a warrior monk type which I plan to use as a hover-scrapper(in the grand tradition of 1970's Kung Fu theatre). While it's not capped for iTrials, it's only a small purple away, and seems to be fine on endurance(~2 end/sec gain with all toggles but tough). I choose to hover because with inherent sprint and quickness I'm one SB away from constantly overshooting my target, and with hover I can be SB'd and still stop on a dime.

I plan to go Musculature t4 Alpha, but still not sure about the other Incarnate slots. If I ever get a set of Hecatomb I plan to 5-slot Storm Kick(everything but the Damage IO) and use a ToD proc in the 6th slot.

Any suggestions for improving on the build will be appreciated.

My main and first ever toon is an MA/SR build. I love it. I've been playing Questor for 7 years and have never gotten tired.

I love looking at everyone's builds. I'm not big on purpling out toons so neither of my two builds I currently have are built with purples. I did spend 2+ billion on them looking for specific things I was interested in. His survivability is great.

One thing I will say is in the build I run with right now I don't have Eagle's Claw. For DPS my chain consists of Crane Kick, Storm Kick, and Cobra Strike (thank you devs for that change). With my recharge the way it is I just continually cycle through those and throw in Focus Chi when it pops. Occasionally I miss Eagle's Claw because it is just a cool animation, but from a dps standpoint, just not needed.

My main was MA/SR until I rerolled MA/SD.

My problems with /SR.

~ No taunt aura. Anytime I want to fight larger groups everything runs, making missions take twice as long.

~ No boost to offensive power. Sorry, Quickness is enemic as an offensive boost.

~ Susceptible to one or two shots that leapfrog resistance.

You can, however, make a soft capped trial build which is kind of cool as an alternate build.

I made MA/SD and it plays exactly the same except it has lots more health, it has a taunt aura, it does 20%+ more damage, and it has Shield Charge which is awesome.

Moonlighter

50s include MA/SD, MA/SR, DP/Elec, Claw/Inv, Kat/Dark, Kat/Fire, Spine/Regen, Dark/SD

First Arc: Tequila Sunrise, #168563

I have enjoyed playing my toon. Mistaken were the critics the last time I posted my build. 8)

I was unaware of the fixes that had been made. I really liked your fixes, I have incorperated them into the new build. The only thing is I really like the Incarnate Power Rebirth Radial Epiphany and not a big fan of Aid Other or Aid Self unless you pvp alot. Here is the updated build! 8)

That looks great! I just noticed how much accuracy you have. 97% global + approximately 60% for each individual power. That's equivalent to having 4.5 acc SO's in each power.

Someone named Adeon Hawkwood posted this awhile ago:

More seriously here's how much you need to get 95% chance to hit against enemies without defense buffs:
+0: 1 Acc SO
+1: Kismet IO and 1 Acc SO
+2: Kismet IO and 2 Acc SOs
+3: Kismet IO and 2 level 50 Acc IOs (i.e. you need 76% accuracy) or Kismet IO, Focused Accuracy and 1 level 50 Acc IO (actually need about 39%)
+4: Kismet IO, Focused Accuracy and 2 Acc SOs

Of course this completely ignores all the enemies with defense buffs or to hit debuffs (for example the IDF Robots in the new TFs have 15% defense).
I would think about respecing again after becoming level shifted. Remove a slot from Focused Senses, Focused Fighting and Evasion. You will lose 27% accuracy from the LotG set bonuses. Slot one into CJ to bump back up your defense to 45% and slot the other two into Storm Kick and Cobra Strike. I like all my main attacks to be 6 slotted.

You will get slightly more Regen if a Numina heal IO is put into Health rather than a Regenerative Tissue proc... Very slight!

I think the big reason Super Reflexes gets so much love is because it is VERY easy to softcap (Super Reflex Tankers will be so easy, it'll be laughable) so you can spend slots/power choices/IO set bonuses toward things like recharge, recovery, regeneration or whatever else fits your fancy.

It's downsides are almost non-existent resistance (Save when your low on HP) you need to take all of it's powers save Quickness and Elude. And Quickness is still a very good power (+20% global recharge? Yes please!) and Elude is a good 'oh nuts' power'.

Lose the Dam/End or Dam from Storm Kick and replace it with the damage proc. It's a 33% chance for 107 damage, so it will get you a lot of extra damage if you put it in a frequently used power.

My main is an MA/SR i have been playing for about 4 years and never get tired of playing him. I have spent double digit billions on him and can solo most of the AV's (with some Incarnate Longbow help). Before Street Justice if you wanted to play a Cap, Daredevil, Black Panther, Batman type, this was the build for you.

I like but don't love SR, it has been eclipsed by other secondaries that do the same thing but have more offensive components to it. To me, all they had to do was put a heal in the set like Ninjitus for Stalkers and I would be happy.

Here is what I use
