Good IO sets for an Archer Corr?

I've never really messed with IOs much but I've been messing around with my lvl 50 Archery/TA corrupter lately and he just feels a little weak. I know IOs are the way to go but I have no idea where to even start.

Could anyone suggest some sets or a build I could go by for Arch/TA? Oh also I have a couple hundred million inf to sink into them, I know that's not much considering a full IO set but it's a start.

Thunderstrike is good and cheap for your best single target attacks, and gives good set bonsues. Do this first.

Put that in Aimed Shot and Blazing Arrow.

Recharge is great for Trick Arrow in general, so find some cheaper sets that give that bonus.

Decimation (5 piece including Build Up proc) in Snap Shot is good. The bonuses are worse than Thunderstrike, and the proc happens every time you fire, so put it here in your weakest fastest-firing attack.

Try to get 4 of the following also to max out your five +6.25% recharge bonuses.

Positron's Blast (5 pieces) in Fistful and/or Explosive Arrow
Cloud Sense (4 pieces) in Flash Arrow
Call of the Sandman (5) in Poision Gas Arrow
Stupefy (5 pieces) in Stunning Shot

These should all fit into your budget.

More expensive, may require you to save up more money...
Basilisks Gaze (4 pieces) in Ice Arrow and EM Pulse

Very expensive but worth it...
Luck of the Gambler +7.5% global recharge. Buy these with Hero merits (2 each = 4 days of doing Tip missions) for any power that will take it, eg Hover or Combat Jumping, Weave, Manouvers

You could even look at the purple Fortunata Hypnosis set for poison gas arrow. Its a much cheaper then the other purple sets. It'll still cost you a bit of inf, but should be reasonable.

I have a build for a defender, you will have to modify it to give you the range cap you need. I will look and see when I get home. But in the mean time I can say you want range defense cap and recharge to get Oil slick up as fast as you can.

I never heard any good stuff about the build so I'm a bit confused when I am farming Crey Fire and some other AE farm missions on 4/8 setting along with just general missions that give me the room to hover above the mobs.

Below is my build for my TA/Archery Defender. It should be pretty close to what you can do for a corr. With hover and CJ running I sit at 42.5% ranged defense, so with one application of flash arrow I am well beyond the defense cap. Also I was able to put this build together for a bit less than 300mil, granted I provided my own LotG by running alignment missions on various toons.

I'd go with recharge and S/L defense, that's what I did with my Arch/Kin. Ranged defense is nice, but it makes it hard to build for other things along with it.

Here is my build. I looked at Atomic_Toy_Gun build and I have to say beyond the being a bit short on the range defense cap, the recharge is very nice. Simple comparison my Oil Slick is at 60 recharge and his is at 48. A total 12 second difference. My only issue is flash arrow is 60 seconds just like Smoke grenade. It's a decent amount of time but it is something you will always have to remember to fire off every 55 seconds. Again 42 or 45 not life ending.. Just a annoyance for me. But after comparing the builds I think I might be able to get both.

EDIT: After reworking and getting some changes I still couldn't figure out how you ATG build was getting Oil Slick down to 48 seconds. Just comparing the builds side by side I noticed I had more recharge sets placed.. I looked to see if accolades where on or Incarnates.. Nothing... Then... There it was staring me in the face. Force feedback IO slotted and turned on.. ARGGGGG.. So I turned that off and it was a bit different.
I would take one IO out of Flash arrow and put it in explosive arrow and place the force feedback for the proc.

Though I don't think your going to get the defense numbers a defender does so might bit a bit tougher for you. You might have to use flash arrow to get the cap.

Okay I did a Corruptor one..

There are some differences like Regeneration, but your endurance and recovery are the just about the same.. And your Range capped. Flash arrow slotted is what helped you out. I would go with Cardiac Alpha
