Having also been a volunteer fireman, my least favorite way to die would be a slow death by fire. So I share this viewpoint with you.
Intellectually I understand and agree with you, but it's the animal instinct that is so hard to deal with when I think of fire related injuries. I got thru the firefighting trainer only because I kept telling myself there was a safe way out. Can't convince myself of that inside a hollow tube a thousand feet underwater.

Now maybe I could have overcome that fear but I wasn't willing to put others in danger if I couldn't and it hit the fan. Of course that could have been my subconscious making rationalizations for not facing my fear.

1. Add sort feature for items to be arranged alphabetically (like bank vaults), name of depositor, or date deposited.

2. Add feature to name shelfs. Ex. A through C.

3. Add note section for shelf to help folks in SG know any special "rules".

4. (Minor) Have an option to display/not display additional item details.

Thank you in advance for any mature feedback and/or help.
Point 1 - absolutely, the other points can be overcome with some creative placement of banners/markers(with exception of your minor request point 4) but hey I'm all for more Cowbell, just trying to focus on the most needed.

Yay for Point 1! I've wanted that option for a looooong time.
My biggest storage wish beyond the sorting is boosting the storage capacity....I will gladly pay more inf for some bins that look the same yet hold more stuff. The "salvage" storage in particular needs the upgrade option or boost the most. Either boost the capacity to 100 or keep the two choices we have(standard magic/tech bin) and make more expensive versions that hold more. It would really help to maximize space in the smaller base footprints. Coupled with the sorting option which is coming can make storage issues alot more manageable.

yes, I forgot all about this. Why don't we have recipe storage units?...We definitely need recipe storage units added to the game.

You won't like the answer. None of us do, and we've all been quick to point out the flaws in the explanation we were given.

So here it is. The devs don't want us storing recipes in bases because they felt it would lead to hoarding. They told us they came to the conclusion that not allowing recipe storage in bases will encourage players to either craft the recipes or put them up for sale on the market.

Now the reality is that we hoard the damn things anyway. We just jump thru hoops to do it.

We all hope the devs will change their minds on this, hopefully it will be something coming after Freedom is released.

Isn't the whole reason to join or create a supergroup is to help others or at least be able to stow your stuff? It seems to me that having a cache of recipes is a good thing. The economics in this game are bonky anyway, one day a "thing" sells for 10 inf and the next I need a abacus to count all the zeros. Seems the devs might have "missed the mark" on this topic. But what do I know, I'm a newb arn't I.

I did say the answer we got wouldn't be liked.

We were told if we wanted to store it we should craft the recipe and put the IO in storage.

We've been asking for recipe storage since Issue 9 went live. No luck so far.

Well to be fair the devs have alot on their "plates" at the moment. Namely, the issue of the new expansion. I'll say something complementary about the devs. At least in this game they appear to listen to feedback from the player community.

I have been in other mmo's that the devs had a "better than thou attitude". I left my last mmo establishment as a 11 year paying player and convinced several others to at least try this game. 2 of them bought this game and play (albeit not as much as I like).

I like posting "new" ideas (Hey, they are new to me) and having "the community" show me the "error of my flawed rationalism". As long as they arn't flaming comments, I always read them with an open mind. I feel that honest feedback eventually leads to positive results, especially in a customer-business relationship. </sniff and climbs off soap box>

My passion "runs deep". I am retired and this game is my "new job". Since I am wheelchair bound, can't use my dominate hand and am chronically ugly (though fat boy done good with a hot asian wife ; )) who actually likes to play mmo's), this game is my escape from what I am unable to do physically accomplish in "rl". <breathes>

Ok, now sign me up for the Jerry Springer show.
