Great Zarquon, does everybody in Praetoria have a freakin' knockdown attack? Even the police and Destroyer minions have KD. So much hate! So much.

For the same reason that they all have -Regen attacks, because the devs hate us.

Hmmm.... It's been a while since I've gone through Praetoria, but I think Ghoul minions and Lts spam stuns, not knockdown, and I don't recall getting thrown around by Clockwork. Then again, against Clockwork, if there's more than one, you're probably dead before it gets a chance to mez you. And I think only the Syndicate with guns (and maybe the Martial Arts ones) have KD.

At least the KD can be stopped with a single IO. If you don't get a mez protect toggle at low level (if at all), the other status effects can be just as bad, if not worse.

My issue is even as a LT destroyer boss types, the "Big Dogs", take multiple applications of mez. A dominator under domination would probably be fine, but a controller at best gets a few seconds of mez if you stack it enough.

If they're boss level, it's pretty much impossible. Spamming my AoE and ST immobilze I can't even root them.

Pro: Elec armor can laugh at the amount of energy attacks that are used by mobs.
Con: You don't get Grounded until 16.

This is still better than say a /regen scrapper who has no mez protection until 16 mind you. Once my SS/elec brute hit 16, I was pretty much steamrolling things.

Also, they summon ambushes.
