Scrapperlock (the song?) o.O
I need to flush my brain of that.
And it's not Arch-Type. It's Arr-Ke-Type.
Seven years of heroism. Seven years of friendships. Seven years of saving the world. Seven years of virtuous selflessness.
You will return, for you are the mighty City of Paragon, the City of Heroes.
I figured "archetype" was pronounced like that on purpose. It IS funnier that way
Oh, and I still want the MP3 so I can sing along while driving to work!!
Craft your inventions in AE!!
Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!
Made me giggle. But yes, its pronounced Ark-eh-type
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
"I've got a logo made of goooooooold."
Fell out of my chair.
Too many alts to list.
I have the song on repeat all day long now.

It stems from a recent job we did being off a street called "Clough Pike" and us debating on how it's pronounced. Is it like "rough" or is it like "dough"??? o.O
I love the english language and all, but man we need some better consistency... they are soooo cruel!!!! Aside from arche-, how many other words ending in che sound like "ki"?
I knew it would be the first thing to be commented on when I posted it... really didn't expect such a good response for Scrapperlock overall tho. Was thinking might get 50 views tops by the end of the year. Thanx for the positivity gang.
Good god.
The Melee Teaming Guide for Melee Mans
Knowing when to pronounce 'ch' as a ch or as a k comes from the definition of the word. Arch comes from the Latin and Greek meaning head or chief. That is why the 'ch' is pronounced as a 'k' and not 'ch'.
edit
The main reason why there are so many conflicting rules and standards in English is because it is an amalgamation of many different languages.

Anyone who saw my old videos from last year know that I pronounce it correctly... There were skits where a goody-two-shoes said it right and the rebel said it wrong. Scrapperlock isn't goody-two-shoes, hence why I said I'm going to say it wrong the whole time.
BTW, love the quote from Sailboat!
Because I'm a bit of a headcase, I decided to amplify it some with a tribute to Scrappers...
Behold...
Scrapperlock!!!
