Technical writer/knowledge mgmt. It seems that when Phoenix's housing market tanked, it took employment with it. Took me 4 months still to find a job up here, but at least here I had interviews almost once a week. Phoenix I'd go MONTHS without even getting to the phone interview round.

It appears that NCSoft has so much stuff to present that they are going to have their own room for the duration of PAX. The schedule can be found at:

Also, it appears that the Meet and Greet will be at the Elephant & Castle again on Friday @ 6:00 pm

Lame that M&G is on Friday, lamer that it's at the same place. Hoping that the costume code will be available at the CoH booth and not exclusive to M&G.

Glad that I'll be able to attend the main panel on Saturday though.

Re: space at the Meet & Greet - We've got the Billiards Room and the Study Area on hold for that night, additionally we're going to have more space blocked off.

Glad to see NCSoft has their own room this year at PAX.

Count me among the "not thrilled" to see the M&G back at Elephant and Castle. We waited quite some time to get into the overstuffed basement only to have to leave a few minutes into the event due to the crowding.

Maybe we Seattle-folk should work on finding a better venue for next year? I don't know the downtown area all that well, but there must be another, larger space that would be willing to host a great group of heroes (don't mention the villains...).

Myself and Lady Shroud will be at the E&C again. Unfortunate location, but there aren't a lot of places in downtown that:

1. Are close to PAX and easy for visitors to find.
2. Are willing to sign over a huge chunk of their real estate to a bunch of cheap nerds.

It doesn't stop me from hoping, though.

It's a shame we need criteria # 1 for a PAX M&G, as I'd be willing to bet that AFK Tavern would be a far better choice in regards to criteria #2 (lots of real estate and they specialize in nerd). Sadly, Everett is just a wee bit too long of a drive from downtown to make it a worthy venue candidate for a PAX M&G.

Won't be at the M&G. Work Friday night.

Won't be at the main panel. Only have a Sunday pass.

Oh well. At least I'll still be able to wander the floor and see all the nifty new games and get some swag.
