Ok...obviously meant for children (mostly....some stuff over their heads), but I can quite honestly say I *never* thought I'd see Beta Ray Bill and The Stranger outside of comics.

and the complete murdering of continuity isn't bothering me at all....probably because it seems the show was written by 12 yr old version of Deadpool

Waaaaaiit a tic this show actually has continuity ???? I thought this was a show based off toys that had decent tounge in cheek humor and wanted to showcase many of the underdog marvel charactors alongside the more mainstream ones, so that they could expand the toylines with more interesting charactor toys? No im actually not knocking this show. I just realize that this is the boys version of my little ponies, without all the meme's the other show has thrown in

Now we aren't ready quite yet to let the catgirls out of the bag.... (quote from ex libris)

Well, the show itself is serialized. There are plotlines that carry over from show to show, but I meant in the sense that there's almost no connection between the SHS characters and the comic characters that they're intended to spark an interest in...

Like say, the differences between the Fox Xmen movies and the comics. Those bug the hell out of me.

oh I got that as well but my point still stands that its a show litterally to make toys from with a decent amount of humor thrown in. Not a bad thing just a thing.

This is a show I'm into a bit, to be honest. It liberally grabs everyone and everything in its continuity and isn't afraid to have celebrity voices, like James Masters as Mister Fantastic and George Takei as Galactus!

It's definitely aimed at kids and apparently has its own spinoff web-based MMO, but don't be fooled. There's some adult humor and fourth wall breaking that goes on continually, the best being a running gag about something happening between Iron Man and She-Hulk...and oh! MARK HAMILL as the Red Skull in a beautiful bit of over the top acting.

It's barely half an hour long and something you can watch with your kids.

I dig the show quite a bit. Definitely on the seriously amusing side of things. Though its a bit weird, for whatever reason this is just funny to me, but i cant stand Batman: Brave and the Bold, which is a bit similar.

My bet would be the character designs....the quasi-chibi art direction of SHS is like a subliminal "shut off critical fanboy brain" switch, while Bats still looks too much like real Bats...

I dig it, it's like a "What the...?" tv show.

As far as voice-over stars, The Stranger was...... John Barrowman! Very cool.
