Incarnate Direction?

I was hoping to get some informed opinions on Incarnate choices for my AR/EM Blaster. I'm unsure of which Incarnate powers would benefit him most. Additionally I'd like to stay as close to the concept as possible but I'm not chained to the idea. Agent M60 is a secret agent type who uses gadgets to augment his natural abilities. Functionally what I did was to give him perma-Hasten which allows him to Range Boost>Build Up>Full Auto every 12 sec's or so.

Heres the build:

For judgement, I think Ion makes sense, since it's an energy attack basically. For reactive, really anything would fit easily, since you could just say that you have a new ammo type with an extra effect. For destiny, probably barrier makes the most sense, since it's like turning on a shield. But really anything other than rebirth could easily fit your theme. And for lore, it's all up to personal taste.

Supermax is pretty spot on.

-Alpha is really up to personal taste, though I may suggest Cardiac since you have a number of toggles (though I do not know what your endurance management is like).

-Judgment is hard to justify in my mind, simply because there is no weapon-based tree (yet). Though from your description, it sounds like you already have access to some energy force? So Ion or Void would do well.

-Interface is where you could really shine. I know someone who is very dedicated to their technology-based storyline, so instead of trying to justify all of the Incarnate powers, he simply took multiple Interface powers, and slots different ones for different situations. He says it works pretty well, and adds an adaptability to his character

-For Destiny, I'd say your best option is probably Barrier. It's the most tech-looking of them, and as Supermax said, it is easily justifiable as a force field.

-Lore has a number of tech-based trees. Just pick the one that's best for you.

@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.
I am a blaster first, and an alt-oholic second.

I chose Void, Diamagnetic, Storm Elementals (Power reasons, but they're really nice), and Destiny.

As a Blaster/Blapper, Void was good for me because I like to be in the action, and it gives a nifty -50% damage which can save you some time to live. You're also a DPS character, and Ion's 2.5 second animation isn't really ideal. If you want quick damage with no added bonuses, go Pyro. (Currently using Total Radial Judgement for this.)

I chose Dismagnetic because I personally like trying to solo hard things, and -Regen is good for me. For team based, I like the -ToHit, and -Regen while fighting an AV. It works out well. (Currently using Core Flawless Interface for this.)

There are many choices for Lore. If you want attack, choose what one you think is the best, and if you want support, look at the bonuses and decide.

Destiny seems like a good choice for Blasters, in my opinion. Not only can you survive longer, but your team does too.

1 - Might as well pony up and put the positron's blast CFNED into your AoE powers instead of that +Range IO - You'd be better served with a damage proc than a slight increase in distance.

2 - Slotting M30 Grenade with knockback may net you 1% recharge over going positron but it's going to make your job more difficult by breaking up the group you are trying to keep in the center of your cones. Plus any tanker or brute will not be hapy having to round them up.

3 - Conserve power can benefit more if you slot it recharge instead of endredux.

4 - Go grant invisibility instead of invisibility - you already have stealth + superspeed (So you can use it and still use powers) & it'll take the LoTG: Recharge.

5 - Drop a slot out of stamina and put it into build up to get the 7.5% status RES from Adjusted Targeting.

Let's say that my play style is teams involves me hovering away from the group and blasting from a distance. What kind of incarnate is best? Right now I have Cardio in my Alpha to keep my toggles going. I don't really see Judgement has as a good fit for a blaster since, like some have said, there's no weapon to it yet.

Thanks,

E.

Well now that looks an awful lot like my AR/EM build (HK-Alpha)

I have just come back to the game and am currently working on the Incarnate powers. The big problem with blasters is getting zapped after you bring the shooty. IOs can make your shooty accurate and damaging. They can take care of recharge too. So I figure your remaining powers need to focus on defense.

My initial thoughts are:

1) Alpha: With the right IO sets, neither recharge nor endurance is much of a problem. You have conserve power, after all. I can keep boost range up almost continuously and am full autoing twice or so per group. I only run out of power when I get sapped.

I am continuously running:
ice armor
accuracy (leadership)
manuevers (leadership)
combat jumping
hover

But again, can bring the shooty continuously with no issues.

I therefore went with Musculature (+Damage). More damage is always better, right? And fun. And it's your job. I was already at 97% damage bonus from enhancers. Musculature (the first tier: +33%) boosted it up to 103% or so. I bet when maxed out I can get up to 110%.

I saw nothing else there that made sense except for recharge. A good case could be made for recharge but I have not run the numbers (deleted mids years ago... need to reload it).

I am a blaster and I therefore belong to the church of "moar shooty is moar good". Hence damage.

2) Interface: My feeling on this was that AOE blasters (e.g., AR) need to avoid getting hit when they unload. My build has a fairly decent defense for a blaster (manuevers, ice armor, etc). I therefore thought the chance of a to-hit debuff was the way to go. -5% to hit is awesome, especially with multiple area effect weapons.

Does anyone know if it stacks? I assume it does, if so: sweet.

3) Destiny: the defense boosting one. Forget what it is. I assume these affect the player activing it as well and not just allies?
