Okay need help for Idea.

From the Wiki, Twilight's Son is the last of his race. The Kheldians have been wiped out and used as a source of energy to power the ships of a deadly alien force in the far distant future.

Now the idea is this if the Kheldians were/will be used to power the ships then it seems possible for one to power a Robot.

My character was dying and in a last moment she left the body of her Human host and entered the body of a Preatorian Clockwork. Kheldian energy now powers the unit. However there are RP issues I'm still trying to think through.

1.) Will the Clockwork Peacebringer speak in Clockwork speak? CWK.PB for example.

2.) Should this new being be able to Shape shift into the Nova/Dwarf forms and with Costume change and creative looks a Human form?

Personally:

1) Not really, but she might find herself using very logical, precise "if/then" statements.
2) Nova/Dwarf... no. Human, maybe - projecting an energy field over the clockwork construct's body almost holographic style.

While they can theoretically be used as power sources, it's not the same as a bonding/merger.

To creat a PB as we know and love them in the game they need to bond with a living sientient being, you just can't do that with robots (Or the council would have Nictus robot legions).

You could have a PB be trapped to power the clockwork, but in which case teh Kheldian would not be in anys tate to say/do anything, as it's just being a battery for somthing else.

I figured that the Kheldian doomed itself instead of saving her life she just prolonged her death. I figured the Clockwork was deactivated at the time of the effects.

True it's not a True Bonding like an organic life. Character concepts is a big part of this game and I really want to make this idea work just trying to figure out how.

Language skills: IF the PB is taking over a working Clockwork, then it's possible that one of several things happen:
1) The CWK is totally lost to the PB's taking over, so the PB talks normally.
2) The CWK attempts to assert itself every so often, but mostly, the PB is talking in it's normal fashion.
3) There's a corruption of the PB and CWK to a Reeses PB Cup type thing, and both are assertive and submissive... i.e, the language is mixed.
4) The CWK's circutry is so messed up for the PB that it actually winds up overtaking the PB's conciousness, but gains it's power. There are two outcomes:
4a) The CWK wins completely, it talks CWK, but is a seriously messed up one versus a normal CWK.
4b) The CWK is occasionally retaken by the PB's conciousness attempting to break through, so it talks 'normal' every so often.

Probably a few others, but those are the highlights. A split personality character is *always* fun, if challenging, to deal with. And that's just the talking, the actions are also parts of those equations. It would be very fun to do, I think, just to figure out how to make it all 'go'. Nifty idea, actually!


Transformations: SINCE, regardless of the type of takeover discussed above, the Clockwork is a 'shell', but not organic, then transformation to a dwarf or nova isn't gonna work as normal... if at all. Likely, the powers could be logically done, and a mix of all three could be possible, and maybe without mode switching (and what a mix that'd be, yeah? Heck, I want that myself. ) But we're talking transformations, so... it might be ok if it were a a 'Transformers' type reconfiguration to accomplish a dwarf/nova looking thing. Be like Astrotrain or other triple form Transformer.

And so to that end, for me, Technus comes to mind right away. This would fit the bill, sorta, if only to get past the merging of a 'soul' to technology, if you will. Technus can control and even transform all things electronic, and then power them, make blasting rays, pummel things, etc. This is what this PB/CLK merger sounds like you're looking to do, overall, in my mind.

/Oh, and this thing would be Void/Nictus resistant, which is a bonus, of course.

A way for it to work could be a Preatorian Experemental clockwork that failed, got dumped somewhere, your desperate Kheldian gets themselves trapepd in the reactor, which powers the Clockwork up, maybe the cosmic energy short circiting it to give it free thougth and all that, and then sets out to explore the strange new world it's in.

All the while never knowing it's powered by a dying alien, hows that sound?

Or it is a cyborg clockwork experment, placing a living brain (ahem like the Clockwork King,) it had to start somewhere into a clockwork body there is your living tissue and the brain is alive hates it's condition and is disembodied. Then the dying keld is able to talk to the brain iut agrees and there is your free bonding PB born no other forms holo projection to look like a humsn. I take that back probably nova form but not dwarf as Nova form could be a Kel's true form and unable to become a dwarf due to the fact it can't transmute the physical frame into solid matter, thinking the nova form is more energy based. Figured I'd add my two cents here.

Basically a person cyberizes themselves to such a point where they finally lose their "Ghost" and a Kheldian moves in

That is an idea having the Clockwork be a Cyborg/experiment with Biological components. That would allow the Khel to bond with out an issue.
