Alongside the complaints about Keyes, I just have to say:

I love the music that plays throughout. It really sounds like the soundtrack to us taking control of Praetoria's power, and I love how it ramps up in intensity as we get further on. It sticks in my head and makes me want to play the trial again for the atmosphere, so nicely done.

I'm sure others hate it, as the in-game music I like tends to get muted by others, but I would love more music like this in trials, even added retro-actively to the BAF and Lambda.

Really wish I could get the music by itself for this game [in general]. I have to play with sound off because the humming from my shields on most of my characters drives me nuts.

Yes, I love the sound my Swirling Mass of Sand, Blood, and Blades makes as he tears things to pieces. Spin has such the satisfying crunch.

It's even better when Winamp is playing Dream Theater, though.

I'mma have to go with this.

When the game can manage to keep the music playing, I might turn it on, but as it is, it's so sparse that's it's just not worth it.

If you go into Menu > Options > Graphics and Audio > Audio you can turn down/off 'Sound Effects', which should mute the sounds of all powers, while leaving your 'Music Volume' setting up.

Come on now. At least once every 10 or 12 missions there's that one pesky glowey that you need to turn on the sound briefly to find.

Of course, the other 99.9% of the game it's better to play without the constant 300 decibel ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZPTTTPTTTPTTTZZZZZZZARRRAAAAAA AAZZZPTTPTTTPTTZZZZZZ, but you can't ignore those tiny moments where the sound serves some useful purpose.

See, I can't play with the sound off. I use the sound to give me information on what's happening behind me.

Beating up Freaks and hear a zapping sound behind me? Rezzer. (or a /elec blaster turning on Lightning Field... that's gotten me more than a few times when I was Ice/Ice tanking regularly for a friends Elec/Elec blaster...)

Lambda sector, how do you know when Nova fist has gone off? Wait for the sound effect, since you can't see Marauder through the effects.

etc. etc.

Now all I need is for the devs to re-enable the damn 3d sound option in the game so I can go back to properly using positional audio cues...

I tend to zoom out. Can usually see the animation for nova fist. And can certainly see the particle effects from it [but then again, my system lets me play at fairly good settings in raids].
