Lore Pet Nameing thread

Little warning and clarification now, I'm going to mention Masterminds allot in here because I have 7 of them but this is mainly about the Lore Pets which everyone has access to which is why I'm not posting this in the Mastermind section.

I'm bringing up Masterminds because I'd like some help keeping my Lore Pets to my existing themes but everyone can use this topic for pet name suggestions of their Lore Pets, not just Masterminds.

Now with that out of the way I'm going to go into my characters starting with a Defender. (I'll save the MMs for later, trying really hard not to get replies going OMG this should be in the Mastermind section.)

I got IDF for my Defender of course, his name is Lord Imperial (Imperial Defense Force) and no I didn't name him after the group if anything the group was named after me. Lord Imperial is 7 years old and ironically he hit level 50 after defeating Tyrant in November 2004. (I remember this because it's such an epic way to hit 50 and he's my first.) Anyway... No idea what to name the pets.

Lord Vestereo who is basically an evil version of Lord Imperial is a zombie MM and he's had this theme of naming all his pets after Magicians (Not all of which are actually dead but they're from an alternate universe where Magic is real so they don't have to be dead. Lord Vestereo murdered them all.) I already got suggestions in game for David Blaine and Christ Angel but given the relationship with Lord Imperial should I keep the theme going with the IDF names? (Lord Vestereo has Phantoms BTW, obviously, they blend nicely with the zombies.)

My robot MM is easy to figure out they're just numbers so moving on I have Admiral Shark. A soldier MM with two themes in place here. Well first off I've decided on the Polar Lights for his Lore Pets. Nothing else fits and he's got a few ice powers so I figured why not. Anyway all his other pets are Navy Rank followed by name of a Shark Species that sounds like an entirely different animal. It's kind of a trick to see if anyone would actually notice they were all sharks. Captain Whale, Commander Tiger, Lt. Bat, Ensign Dog, Cadet Bull, and Dr. Leopard. I actually spent an entire day researching Shark Species on the internet to find these names. Whale Shark, Tiger Shark, Bat Ray Shark, Dog Shark, Bull Shark, and Leopard Shark. (Yes they're all real names for different species of sharks.) So what names could I use for the Polar Lights that would be in keeping to the same theme?

I'll skip my Ninja MM, I started to type something out and thought of name while I was typing so I deleted the whole thing. So next up is Cameron the Lovely with her Thugs and Carnival. The Thugs as well as her own name were the first name of an actor or character from the movie "The Mask" Though Cameron the Lovely is a red head and not a blond like Cameron Diaz. I wasn't trying to copy the people or characters, it was just a good source to get names from. Cameron's personality is more of "Catwoman" type character, you know a bad girl who has a huge crush on the hero who's constantly putting her behind bars. In this case that hero is Lord Imperial. Though I'd say their relationship is more along the lines of Beast Wars Silverbolt and Blackarachnia if you get that reference. Anyway the first name is always followed by "The" and a one word description of the character. I kinda took this idea from all the Brokers names, in fact I think I had it in Cameron's description that she's dated all her Brokers at some point in time. Anyway her pets are Dorian the Strong (Bruiser) Peter the Dumb and Johnny the Wise (Enforcers named after the actors who played the cops in "The Mask" but I wrote these guys as being brothers.) Charlie the Cool, Ben the Bad, and Jim the Heat. (Jim obviously being my Arsonist named after Jim Carrey which has nothing to do with the actor or his character in the movie other than his first name which is also my middle name in real life BTW.) So what could I name the Carnie Lore Pets? Maybe Peggy the Clown and ??? I haven't looked do I get a Strongman with Carnies or just the female characters who dominate the group? Not sure what do in either case, I can't think of another lead female character to use for a name and can't think of a new describing word for a Strongman sense I already used Strong for my Bruiser.

Next up is Tsul and I'm sure someone else needs suggestions for this one besides be because I named her Tsul after I realized someone took Lust already. Of course this is my Demon MM so Pride, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth, and Envy are my pets. All spelled backwards and even took it a step further sense I had to go with Tsul instead of Lust so all my pet binds have them speaking out the command I'm giving them but they say it backwards. I think the little Rularuu minions look more like demons than Aliens and nothing else fit so I'm getting that for her Lore pets. Now with the 7 deadly sins for her theme what am I going to do for 2 more names? Suddenly there needs to be 9 deadly sins just so I have something else to name them. I should note that I'm not a religious person and actually took the names from Full Metal Alchemist. Because they're the 7 deadly sins non of it is trade marked but on the original series a woman named Dante created them and in the Brotherhood series it was Father who created them. If you're not a fan of the series you'll have no idea what I'm talking about but unfortunately their names are trade marked, or at least Dante's is. Father's name is just "Father" but sense I'm spelling them backwards anyway I don't see any harm in naming one of my pets Etnad. Unless anyone has any better ideas.

So now we move onto my Dual Blade and Dual Pistols characters.
Brute and Blaster will be using Longbow
Tanker and Mastermind will be using Seers
Stalker and Defender will be using Vanguard
Scrapper and Corrupter will be using Cimerorans

I'm not really going to go into why I choose these 4 for them because it's all really complicated, (even more so than the previously mentioned characters) and it'll just save time if I don't go into details as I'll have to individually explain each of the 8 characters. I'm lumping them all together for the similar naming theme. As it is my Mastermind in this group of 8 has all his pets with a variation of the same name. Roberto, Robbert, Robbie, Rob, Bobby, and Bob. I especially wanted to have him with Seers just to name one of them Kate. (Blackadder reference if you get it.) But what do I do with the rest of the Lore Pet names for all the other characters keeping into this same theme? I don't think there's that many variations of the name Bob but let me know if you come up with anything I haven't thought of.

I have two other characters with Lore pets as well but they're Arachnos and they got Patron pets as well that can't be named so why bother with it? And I mean the character itself is a Soldier of Arachnos with Arachnos Patron pets and Arachnos Lore pets so the theme would seem to be not to name them. But if you want to suggest names anyway one's a time traveler and the other is a experiment with DNA manipulation to create a super soldier. Go nuts.

Anyway... if you post your own character themes in here I'll try to come up with names for you that fit your theme.

Well, I read about half of that, and I don't really get what you're asking for or whatever, but I might as well share my Bots naming theme because I thought it was clever. Each tier is based on a differant phrase:

"The whole Lock, Stock, and Barrel." - Battle Drones
"The whole Kit and Kaboodle." - Protector Bots
"The whole Shabang." - Assault Bot

Can you name Lore pets now? Last I saw you couldn't. Either way it throws off my naming scheme pretty badly.

Vladimir, the Lich

During her time imprisoned within the walls of her castle Elizabeth had heard about this dark sorcerer that was told to be even more powerful then she was said to be. The guards where eager to let her known that he too was captured in his hideout deep withing the Carpathian mountains. But as he didn't had the luxury of being protected by noble blood the sorcerer named Vladimir was killed on the spot. His throat slit and his body cast into a deep pit that was then filled with mud and filth.

Escaping her country of birth she travelled to the Carpathians to seek out this sorcerer... and indeed she found him. Her magic brought him back to life as her servant... and in some spells even her teacher. As his own dark sorcery was strong enough to keep his mind intact even after death.

Vladimir has a host of dark spells he can perform. And if ever he had any feelings towards other humans those feelings where removed upon his death. Only his loyalty to the countess remains. Do not underestimate this walking corpse... his power is terrible indeed.


Radagast & Krakaroff

These two where the guards that kept Elizabeth imprisoned in her castle tower. And the first to fall to Elizabeth her new found undead excistence. She drained both of them for their blood and then turned her sorcery upon them. Thus her enslavers became her personal guards. Her Knights of Death!


Dimitri, Sergei & Ficzko

Outside the castle she found the shallow graves of her direct servants. Including the man that taught her sorcery during the last few years. But their bodies where decomposed... Elizabeth utilized a great amound of blood to bring them back but was unable to repair much of their mind. These days they serve her still... Although not able to communicate much they never tire, never sleep... and are strong soldiers in case of a fight.
