Wow I see a lot of things wrong with this build and I am not that great with mids. First off u got it wasting so much end, secondly u do not have much acc, thirdly hardly any damage, fourthly you are over slotting some of your def which is maxed out at 5 IE the max end in Eradacation, and lastly why did u put a stealth proc in sprint? It is a tank and there for might want to be seen to get aggro. Plus if not mistaken doesn't dark armor have a stealth in it in the first place? You have it over SC witch is fine and dandy but a little over kill.

Mr Wallace, I don't know if you knew but it's hard to post a build to show a mate; (who possibly isn't on the forums so personal posts won't help); without someone seeing it as an invite to make suggestions.. Perhaps at times even with a certain lack of decorum for want of a better word.

I'd of tanked with it.

If I may, all I did was move a slot from combat jump to stonefist for bruises sake.

I agree with New Dawn, it's a good build overall. And I also agree that taking the Karma Def/End out of CJ and slotting it in Stonefist would be a good idea.

The other issues I see are that Dark Regen and Tremor are underslotted for end reduction. DR is a very high-end power and I recommend at least 60% end reduction in it. Keep the ToE +End, but replace the other two ToE slots with say, a Heal/End and a Heal/End/Rchg from Numina or Doctored Wounds. That'll give you sufficient end reduction and high recharge.

Tremor is an easy fix, just swap out the Cleaving Blow Dam/Rchg for a Dam/End--I'd slot something higher than level 35s, as well. I understand why you want high recharge in your attacks, but high recharge and low end reduction is a bad combination, especially for Dark/Stone.

In Death Shroud, swap out the Erad Acc/Rchg for a Damage and the Multi Strike Dam/End for a Scirocco's Acc/Dam/End. That way, DS will be fully slotted for Damage but you'll still have sufficient end reduction.

You don't need the E/NE def from the 6th slot of Stupfy--and I really wouldn't recommend using the KB proc either. If the proc hits it's going to do KB instead of KD; not good for a Dark tank. I'd pull that slot and use it in Cloak of Fear for a Acc/End IO from another set.

Op Gloom will have great synergy with the stun attacks in Stone Melee, so I'd definitely take it well before level 49.

Dark/Stone is a *very* high-end combo, and since you don't need the Mocking Beratement S/L def bonus to soft-cap, I think you should consider pulling some of those slots to better slot Stamina and Physical Perfection. If that's not an option, I would definitely recommend the Cardiac alpha with this build, otherwise there could be serious endurance problems.

Hi all np with the feedback on the build happy for anything that makes it better in the long run. Will say that with the build I posted I have happly tanked LRSF and STF with no healer and actuall had some nice feedback here on the forums after I did. But thx Dawn Fin for some great Ideas I will be looking at CJ now. I find that at high end play with T4 cardiac end is not an issue. I actuall found the OP to be of little use, when playing as mobs tend to get stunned and wonder off making it harder for keeping agro on me.
Anyhow just my two cense joy of CoH is we all play diferently and have diferent way. Best thing is we have given old Lightly a whole host of ideas for his new tank and can welcome him to the Dark side of tanking

Should say stealth Procs are just the way I play as I like to be able to ghost on all my toons even tanks if the mish needs it.

With softcapped defense you don't need stealth. Just turn off your auras and haul butt. Do it with my Ice tank all the time. You'll maybe get hit a small handful of times from weak ranged attacks.

Not saying you're wrong or anything. Just saying it's not really a necessity to have stealth with high defense - especially on melee ATs. If you're going after glowies I can see the procs' use, though.

That said, it is more fun with run with your auras on lol.

He never said he thought it was a necessity, he said that was how he liked to play. I have a stealth proc on all my tanks too; sometime I use it and sometimes I use "tanker stealth".

Not all personal play decisions need to be challenged if they don't match yours--especially something like this that won't hurt his effectivenes in any way.

I never implied that he thought it was a necessity and I wasn't challenging his gameplay decisions. I was merely stating that "stealthing" through a mission can be done without "stealth" when you have high defense.

Not all generalized comments need to be bashed based on assumptions and taking said comments out of context. My apologies to the OP if he felt offended by my post, however, as that was never my intention.

To be perfectly blunt, your post was unnecessary to begin with, let alone needing to redirect it at LSK as he also did nothing wrong or offensive. He was merely stating that he stealthed missions in the same manner I did.

At no point did either of us tell the OP that he should remove his stealth IO or anything of the sort. It was a simple statement explaining an alternative method to achieve the goal the OP set out for with a stealth IO. I even stated in the original post that it was not my intention to say the OP was in the wrong or to tell him how to do this or that. It was a post about stealthing in general. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Just a suggestion if you feel like you need to enhance your attacks a little bit more and needed the slots.

I think someone suggested earlier about getting OG sooner and I will have to agree with this, too. Getting it and using it to stack with Fault will be great mitigation for those times you exemplar.
