'Fainting' 5th Column LTs?
Prior to joining the 5th, this man was an EQ monk. He was pulled foward in time (not to mention sideways across mmo space) by a 5th Column experiment. Despite extensive training with the 5th Column, he still resorts to his old tactic of feign death when he realizes he's in a losing battle.
You're supposed to lose interest in him and wander back to your post...

hahaha, that's funny! Which tip mission, exactly? I wanna test this myself!

Allied to all sides so that no matter what, I'll come out on top!
Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)
I don't remember what the tip was specifically called, but the mission I got was "Plant explosives in order to destroy drug labs". I believe the story was about how the 5th Column were spreading Fixadine on the streets.
Maybe they were all half-stoned as the result of testing their own... product...
Where to find me after the end:

LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas
Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

If I remember correctly, that was the vigilante version of a tip mission.
In the text of the mission, or maybe the pop up dialog box when you enter the mission, you pump knock out gas into the warehouse before entering, to soften up the 5th Column inside. I think these guys are supposed to fall over at half health to represent the effects of the gas.
Oh, okay. Thanks Afterimage. I must have skipped over it or something.
Great gag, devs. I'd love to see more stuff like that.

Meanie, you knocked all the fireflies out of his magic armor!

I'd love to see stuff like that implemented some more (if this case is an intentional implementation).
Would be cool to have an arrest power or something, as opposed to just beating on them.
Neat, fluff sort of stuff to some, maybe... but that's what makes pastimes go 'round!

for me the coolest part of the tips is that far more than 80% of them involve supers, not just random flunkies. The worst part of this game is going through not just missions, but whole story arcs without anything but a flunky to fight. Seriously needs more enemy supers. Generic bosses just aren't anywhere near as cool.
I guess that's why I love frostfire so much, back when I was starting and getting frustrated with beating on street thugs, he was the first real super villain and he's totally bad @**. the Rogues Gallery aren't so tough since they're all bosses at most, but back in the hollows, frostie rocked.
and I'm totally addicted to bank missions for the same reason.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
The enemy you see in these 2 images is no dead. If the screen had captured the target reticle, you would see his health at just below half and recovering.
This is during a tip mission in which I blow up a drug warehouse. Whenever I encountered an LT enemy, he would attack like normal... but once his health reached a certain level... he would stop attacking and just drop to the floor. I could still hurt them... but I kinda felt bad and didn't kill them. All 4 LTs in the level, including the boss, did this. I didn't see anything mentioning it in the mission text... And usually when this happens the enemy turns friendly and you can no longer attack them.
So, is this a glitch or just an awesomely hilarious thing the devs set up?
