Maybe you can clarify. I'm level 50, and I only have a total of 97 slots instead of 98.

You're not losing a slot. The slot that isn't there is an Auto-Slot that you can never remove. Since you can't slot Swap Ammo, the Auto-Slot isn't there.
The alternative would be to show the Auto-Slot, and then never allow any Enahancements to be placed into it.

To the OP: Would you prefer it if the slot was there but you were unable to place any enhancements in it?

Anyway, this isn't something to send a petition about. The power can not be enhanced in any way so it does not have any slots associated with it. That's simply the way it is, i.e. 'working as intended'. If you feel that Dual Pistols is gimped because of it, don't use that set.

From what I've tracked, most of my characters receive a total of 98 slots which covers 32 powers (this includes inherent powers).
The Swap Ammo power doesn't accept any enhancements. And therefore is not alloted an enhancement slot.
This gives me 97 total slots instead of 98 total slots.
That 1 (missing) slot could be used to provide a set bonus.
I sent in a petition and their response was that I should consult you all on the message boards.
So, I'm posting this as a complaint / question - why shortchange the Dual Pistols powerset?
