. Hopefully this gets people drawn in. If it doesn't, I'll know that these type of events aren't that welcomed. That, or people don't like me :<

That said however some people had had success doing them to some degree.
It may be worthwhile to try contacting some leaders of some of the groups with the idea individually.
I've cat herded before, I know the pains.
...So yeah, I'll see what I can do about contacting people within the next few days.

I am more than happy to offer advice, if you want the help.
One thing you REALLY are going to need is a chairman, preferably a veteran, who holds a lot of weight in the ENTIRE comunity, and is suitable for the role IC.
In the Rikti war council, this was Big Lunk (the Unionverse version).
In the Preatorian war council, this was Pious.
Both have reason for getting the population to sit down and listen to them.
Without this simple thing, the idea will fall apart fast.
Find the right person, who everyone already has respect for, to fill this role IC, keep them fully informed of the direction the council should go OOC, and hope they can hold people together long enough for it to succede.
I am working on the 'council' members as time permits, but the advice is well recieved, Lunk.

So, hey folks. I've been musing over things for the past few days and yesterday I started plotting out events for me to host over the course of about 3 months. One of them is something that may or may not go over well and that is a IC War Council / Gathering to plan for Keyes Island. It is one of many events that I will be holding in a slow process to bring the community fun RP events. Yes, this idea came from what Union did and credit goes to them for it.
The War Council will be made up of heroes and/or supergroups who wish to participate in discussing the plan of action in a next step against the Praetorians. This will lead to a TBA date of a IC iTrial of Keyes Island. I know that trying to RP in an iTrial will be a ******, but I'm still working things out.
The date is June 9th and I'm still working out what time and where.
BUT, on another note.
Who is willing to come to be a part of the council? I'll be announcing the final details by this Saturday.
EDIT:
Due to a shift in how this will run, I am re-working the date to contact individuals ICly about being the minds of the council.
WHO: Primals & Praetorians (Namely anyone who can make it that want to)
WHEN: UNKNOWN, 8pm CST and goes on until it ends. I'd say about 9:30pm CST (9pm EST to 10:30pm EST)
WHERE: Rikti War Zone, AE (Power Suppression Room).
WHY: To prepare for the next attack against Praetoria.
