Elm/SD Brute or Scrapper

I just leveled up my elm/sd scrapper to 41 and the epic power pools seem lacking compared to the brutes. I mostly play brutes but i went scrapper because of the higher damage on lightning rod and shield charge.

Im assuming brute would use 3 aoes rotation til LR and SC are back up. So a scrapper would have 2 aoes and a cone i guess? Just wondering what someones attack rotation is with high recharge.

Kinda tempted to make a brute now

You can get Fireball from the Blaze epic. The drawback of that is that it requires two additional selections from the Blaze epic to be able to take it.

Main Hero: Inferno Sparky - Fire/Fire Blaster
Main Villain: Kerry Astrid - Fire/Cold Corruptor

I took my Elm/SD Scrapper redside for the Mu epic. Fit the concept better and I saved a power.

For Elm/SD go Scrapper - the damage is better for your two big attacks (LR & SC).

For Epic there is Mu & Blaze, where you can pick up a TAoE.

Hmm i'll probably just stick with the scrapper then. It seems easy to get damage cap for Lightning Rod and Shield Defense. I usually already have around 200% damage bonus. It kinda makes build up seem point less though.

Thats the damage i was doing in the 40's. I guess i dont like getting 2 powers to get an aoe

The Blaze pool is not bad at all. Yes, you have to take three powers, but if you do not plan to exemp, it's quite possible to heavily slot and use all of them.

Hint: Check the recharge and animation times of ALL the powers in the Blaze pool, and don't forget the Reactive Interface bonus.
