Hey, just thought I'd throw a bump out for another returning player looking to get involved in the community.
We may just have to scrape all the forum goers looking for an RP-SG into a channel sometime and decide on a theme and a name and just make a new one.

If you're looking for a Golden/Silver Age Theme RP group, the Golden Age Heroes are always looking for good folks. They have an adult hero branch (Think JSA/JLA), a young team branch (Teen Titans type), and a reformed villain branch (Think Thunderbolts) if you have characters that fit the overall Golden/Silver Age classic hero team.

There are a bunch of RP SGs out there. Some come to these forums, a lot don't. Best bet is to look around ask around, and keep your options open. I know we at The Cape Radio do advertise for a few of them.

Check out the Supergroup Directory at the top of the Virtue forums. Plenty of great SGs listed up there with plenty of details about each group. If you're still having trouble finding that right group, shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do to help ya out.

I'll have to take a look at the Golden Age Heroes when I get some free time.
And I did check the SG thread but what I found were groups that were either thematically wrong for my characters and/or was primarily an EST group.
Hello everyone!
Im an old CoX player who decided to return during the free reactivation week. I first played the game when it first launched and quit a bit after IOs were introduced so its been a very long time. I left CoX for a land filled with night elves and orcs and had a great few years setting up a wonderful RP guild but ultimately, CoX drew me back.
But knowing myself, I know my excitement for CoX will quickly fade if I dont incorporate myself in roleplay; its the main reason why I play MMOs. Im still learning to acclimate myself again to the game but that doesnt mean I cant begin my search to find a good group of roleplayers. I have a few 50s and I plan to return to them but right now Im enjoying running around in the lower levels.
What I am looking for is either an active stable roleplay SG to join or gathering a group of like-minded roleplayers to establish a new SG.
What Id like in a SG, whether it be joining one or building one:
The SG doesnt have to be large or have a great base with all the bells and whistles but having enough members to run missions, TFs and such would be great.
Im looking for a late night group. I live on the west coast and I typically login 9pm PST (GMT-8) and play for a few hours. I tend to play most days of the week.
The SG should be medium to heavy roleplay. I like writing RP stories so having a few others who enjoy writing would be ideal.
Im not looking for a morally grey group. I dont mind a few plotlines that deal with moral ambiguity but if the SG is constantly playing the role of a vigilante, then it just gets old. In other words, I like being a hero.
My first option is to join a group. My second option would be to form a SG. I figure if I cant find a SG to join in the next week or so, Ill form one for those who are on the same boat as I. Please contact me on this post or in-game if you think theres a SG thats a good fit for me or if you want to help setup a new SG. My global is @spectral hunter.
