No more fire farms!!!!?

Farming at +4/x8 has proven fatal against fire and s/l damage so far but with only ~50% resistance to s/l and 42% to fire (including soft cap defense to each via powers and inspirations) just doesn't cut it. I'm going to respec eventually out of weapons mastery (took it for caltrops + reactive but that is getting fixed).

Up and Comers: Ameterasu (Km/Reg Scrap), Arrhymian (Elec/Nin Stalk), TDMKII (Bot/Traps MM)
Carnies. Dark Armor scrappers rip through them, especially if your primary deals lethal damage.

Now I am playing a soft capped Fire/Shield scrapper which is all around better but less optimized for certain foes.

You're missing a key component. S/L defense. Even with softcapped defense the DoT kills me.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.

I am also softcapped to all 3 positions, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I recently respec'd my Inv/SS to be softcapped to fire/cold. I had no intention on doing so, but lately I've been participating in lots of the fire farms. Also, I've been playing Red Side a lot, and from my experience, pure elemental damage is more prevalent there than blue side.
I just got done with the finishing touches on a mission for my Ice/KM tank. Between burst,fireball and T3reactive, I can successfully manage a 54x8 mission setting with my ambush mission. The mission yields the same as any other mission as since after alot of trial and error I managed to find the right ratio of attacks/defense for the mobs. If your interested look up "Cold Contagious".
