Unless you wanted Chillbain as an immobilize that badly I would advise switching to Energy Mastery and picking up Conserve power and Physical Perfection. You can keep softcapped by swapping an Obliteration into Footstomp as well. You can also move the +3 Def Proc into Grounded to free up the slot, as well as the slots from the immobilize, to boost your attacks up a tad. In addition I would recomend removing the Energy Manipulator from Power Sink and add another Performance Shifter IO for the +HP Bonus. Also I would recommend two Efficacy Adaptors into Stamina, agian, for the +HP Bonus. You may also want to move another slot to Health for the Numina Proc. Lastly, unless it's a part of the concept dropping Super Speed or Super Jump for Power Surge might be a good idea since it's where all your Toxic resists are.

Now, after all of that being said, I do like the build. Thumbs up and all.

In the future, please don't use the long forum export. It adds a lot of annoying text to scroll past that isn't useful because most people use Mids' to look at the build. Posting just the data chunk, or the short forum export with data chunk would be preferred.

It looks like you picked the Cardiac Radial Paragon which increases Fear, Sleep, and Intangibility duration at the cost of less endurance reduction enhancement. You don't have any Fears, Sleeps, or Intangibility powers, so use the Cardiac Core Paragon instead.

Why did you slot the knockback protection IO in Grounded? Grounded already provides knockback protection.

A travel power is nice to have while leveling up, instead of taking them at 47 and 49.

Power Surge would be a better power to take than an unslotted Ice Blast.

Smashing and Lethal damage may be the most common, but Energy isn't far behind. Incarnate content has a lot of pure energy damage from the Praetorian Clockwork. Consider dropping your S/L defenses to about 32.5% so you can have the same energy defense. A small inspiration would then be used to go from 32.5% to 45% when you need it, but most of the time you won't need inspirations.

You are overcapped on one HP bonus. I tweaked it a bit and here's what I came up with. Replaced useless Chillblain with Salt Crystals (huge 30ft AoE). Left the -KB IO and got a recovery bonus, as having no KB protection when jumping (CJ or SJ) sucks.

.
I completely agree with you you already have 15pts to KB protection and the added resist you get from the other side of the cardiac tree will boost your resists that little it higher close to match a INV in S/L resits

What do you want to get out of your build my friend? ELA in my opinion is the best Tank primary in the game. Ok maybe DA is very close??? But i very much prefer my ELA. here is my current build for ELA/SS

here is my build minus some defense for a travel power

Your travel powers are still taken way too late. If you exemplar for a task force, you should have a travel power available.

I think you're over-emphasizing S/L defense. A lot of damage at 50 is pure energy. I would drop the S/L defense to 32.5% and try to get 32.5% E/N defense. You wouldn't need as many attacks slotted with the very expensive Kinetic Combat sets if you went that route.

Power Sink is over-slotted while Stamina is under-slotted. The 6th set bonus for Performance Shifter adds AoE defense, which is doing you almost no good. Damage buffs from set bonuses are also not useful because they are hard to obtain a meaningful amount of them. Even Recovery set bonuses are only moderately useful and should be at a lower priority than slotting Stamina to the ED cap.

Gaussian's set is not good for typed defense. You spent 6 slots to get 1.25% S/L defense, which is a complete waste. You could get 1.875% from 2 slots of Rectified Reticle. Even if you had a useful amount of E/N defense, Gaussian's would only be contributing 2.5% total useful defense.

I prefer the Energy Mastery pool. Physical Perfection is a decent bit of endurance recovery. Energy Mastery can work if you don't have many slots to dedicate to attack powers in your epic pool.

I have no travel power in my Build.... I use Ninja Run+ Lightning refelxes+ Swift+ sprint= nearly SS

Or you can just make a second build of SO's for Exmplaring down?

I dont really know what to say

Why? The LAST thing an Electric Armor anything needs is more end recovery. Power Sink is available every 30 seconds, and that should be enough to keep even the end hungriest build rolling in endurance.

Again, why? Electric Armor does NOT need more end management tools. The only purpose Cardiac could possibly serve on an Electric tank is a little bit more resistance. The extra damage from Musculature would be more useful.

Also, the Performance Shifter +End proc will not work like you think it will in Power Sink. If you ever want to use Power Sink as a draining tool, that proc will fire and give your enemies endurance. I'd pull that out of there altogether.

2 Rectified Reticle and 2 generic recharge IOs would be better slotting for Rage. The bonuses from GSFC aren't very helpful for typed defense. Rectified Reticle gives you S/L defense, pure F/C attacks are rare, and you don't need more energy defense, since you resist 90% of it and are virtually immune to drains. It would leave you with a Negative Energy hole, but pure Negative attacks are fairly rare.

As far as APPs go, if it doesn't break your concept (which it doesn't look like it does), I'd go with Pyre Mastery for a little more AoE potential. Foot Stomp + Fireball is commonly used by farmers for a reason. You can open the pool with Ring of Fire to slot Enfeebled Operation for S/L defense, and slap 3 Thunderstrikes in Fire Blast for some E/N defense (that you don't need, but if you have to take the power, you might as well get something out of it)

It is helpful for long AV battles. Sure you can use Power Sink every time it's up, but I'd rather use the activation time on attacks instead.

Also, having 90% S/L res is damn sexy.

Dude if he has enough recharge then his Dmg will be fine without Maculatar alpha, a double stacked Rage works wonders, then wen it crashes he has POWER SINK to draw from. The extra resist is more important... have you fought Bobcat latley in Tinmage??? She hits friggin hard. Sure the End thing shouldnt matter but its those resists that count. Espescially if you arnt softcapped.

I was just saying there are other options. It is not a case of "This is the ONLY Alpha you can take, EVER!"

If you aren't concerned about the extra resistance, you do not need Cardiac at all.

I personally have Spiritual on both my Elec Armor characters(Brute and Tanker), as I like having the extra recharge and extra healing power out of Energize.

The issue I have without Cardiac is using Energize and Power Sink more often than I'd like to keep my endurance up instead of saving them for mitigation, and having to use oranges/barrier/empowerment buff/cimeroran day job to get 90% S/L when needed.

You hit the nail on the head.

Claws I didnt mean to sound like I was attacking your input, I apologize if I did? You do carry a valid point. Just looking at it from my experience as a Ela/SS

You didn't sound like you were directly attacking my input, but you WERE sounding very much like you were saying that Cardiac is the only viable option, and that's just not true.

If your gonna 4 slot Salt Crystals, you might as well 5 slot it with Fortunata's.

think your first slotting for Power Sink was better (3 PerfShift and 2 EfficAdap).

you've already got a 40% slow resist from Lightning Reflexes, I'd drop the Winters Gift for a generic End Reduction.

I was actually stating that a cardiac alpha is better choice than masculater. NOT that he must choose it.
